The SB and Cjc91s bounced back and will soon be going into flower within days. 5 weeks from seed.

After seeing how quickly this Tangie is revegging I'll throw her in the mix and just hold that smaller cjc91 for later. Tangie is a fully mature plant at 25weeks old so I'm curious to see how much or if she out performs the photos from seed.

The DP is busting out growth all over now.

The other Tangie is as well.

The single solo cjc91 is doing great. Not sure what to do with her yet.

Have you ever gotten bud rot on the clone? What happens to the "bud" after wards...??

I think I may have found out why my scrog has not been doing much of a stretch. I threw these 4 in next to the scrog last night to start flower. Got up a 0530 to make sure the two timers kicked off at 0600.
When I checked the timer for the scrog I noticed this girls been getting 11/13. How that happened I dunno but I suspect it's why I've seen such little stretch. I'd use 11/13 for a leggy long flower sativa girl. 12/12 is good enough for everything else.

So 3.5 weeks into flower and I believe the screen work is near complete. I'll watch them a few days but I really don't think I'm going to see much more action. In a day or two I'll get all undergrowth out and let them do their thing.

Ive got a pretty decent footprint on the screen. Not exactly what I wanted but it should grow some nice bud now. It has all the light on the canopy so good things are about to happen.

Good catch.

Things are getting fun....

Made a few moves tonight. Since the C99 is not going to fill my screen so I think to myself....pull her out and put the cjc91s under the screen. BAM! Thought turns to reality..lol.
It only made sense in my head. These two plants may take up more space in the screen. More in the screen equal more bud.

Like I mentioned last post I don't expect much more growth from the C99. She's well shaped by the screen and should do fine the rest of the way with minimal training.

I can see now I'm going to boost up the SB and Tangie for a few weeks. I don't think that c99 will stretch much. She's 3.5 weeks into flower.

End of week 4 12/12

She's no longer under the screen but she is well formed and flowering nicely.
I've bumped up the jacks bloom to 1/2tsp per gal. She seems to be eating it right up with no problems. Rolling up close to mid flower I wanted to see if more bloom would digest and it did. I see no issues. I'll continue this till late flower.

I don't normally pull a plant from under the screen but I've done it before. By week three flower all branching is ridigid and will hold in place till finish. Makes a nice even canopy for a free standing plant and it opens up the screen for more plants.

I'm thinking I may do more of this soon. Using the screen in this way I can get max light to the canopy as they finish and I don't have to unravel them from the screen at harvest. Hmmm this idea is gaining ground in my head..lol

Also making plans to add another small tent to the mix. A divided one that I can root flowering clones in and hold a mama plant or two. Clones are the superior plant to grow. Bigger, better, faster.

I also have plans to regenerate a clone taken at harvest....what? Yeah, I'm going to remove a nice medium sized cola maybe 7-10" long and root her. The end product should be a true monster. It'll take a while but I'm thinking it will be well worth the wait and effort. Once that new tent is set up I'm gonna have even more fun projects going.

Never stay idle or complacent. Think outside the box. Make it happen!

A little update on that clone over the stove. Side project.

She's still alive. Hard to believe she's been sitting in that jar over 1.5 months but it has.

My goal was to see how long it would take her to root without gel or scuffing up the stem. Just a 45° cut. Well.....she's starting to root.
1000000538.jpg
This clone gets all kinds of different light cycles. I'm not worried about it cause this is just me playing around. She has started to flower though...I expected to see balls come forward before this ends..lol
1000000539.jpg
This kinda leads me to believe that if take some cuts and throw them into 12/12 they will show sex...even without roots. I've also read of folks rooting in the refrigerator crisper. Oh the possibilities in that..lol

I know waiting on a clone for months is silly. I'm just playing around with cloning methods. Amazing how the will to live keeps rolling forward with cannabis. Tough plants.

Next up I'm pulling some cuts from the refrigerator crisper. They've been in there a few months now. Gonna try to root them. See if I can come up with a long term storage solution for cuts that works for me.

More training on the Tangie and Strawberry Banana tonight.

Oh my what a mess I've made of her. She's a week in flower tomorrow and chugging along. I guess she's going to be a lime green plant. Dunno what to expect from her but she's a good growing plant. Never had Strawberry Banana befor1000000544.jpg1000000545.jpg
Tangie got totally laid out tonight. Everything she has got bent outwards. No ties just bending. She will be one week in flower tomorrow as well.1000000543.jpg1000000542.jpg

You'll never see me top. Just ain't gonna happen. I train plants to get the max from them without removing potential bud sites.

That top taken has 3 potential bud sites within it. Usually a main cola. The largest your plant will grow. Removed to create two just below it which will be smaller. Those two sites where already there. All ya had to do was lean the plant over and expose. They pop out in just a few days. Now you have 5 bud sites and still growing. No slow down, minimal stress, most important...no loss.
