Do you have any pics of your Skunk #1? I'm sitting on a pack and pretty curious. I'd imagine old school strains like the Skunk #1 would have a hard time matching more modern strains which makes sense. If I understand the backstory correctly the Skunk #1 line basically came from a time capsule from over 40 years ago and reproduced. Piney does sound quite nice on its own merit though.

Few posts up, I have a pic or two. From my understanding the roadkill was bred out by Skunkman Sam (when he was n Holland) Seems like he crossed the original skunk with another sativa. PXL_20240330_022703912.PORTRAIT.ORIGINAL~2 cv.jpg

Reminded me of the White Widow a lot, wondering if I'm doing something wrong with my grows, anyone else here feel like the white widow is piney?

The skunk1 of old was sativa dominant very high yielding and longer flowering like 12weeks or 13 weeks under hps some phenos and not sexually stable be warned also if you look at pics of skunk special you will get an idea that's from 84 stock the later 80s skunk1s are a lot more sexually stable and flower a bit faster too like the cheese for example thats from 88 sensi seeds stock

Where’d you get your fav widow from? I have like 7 seeds left of some pre 98 white widow from Old Dutch Genetics that I need to reproduce and maybe hand out. I got a pheno that was very mothball/old person’s musty basement and grapefruit, and turned purple/black in like week 6.
My fave was the old GHS one but f I had to buy it today I'd go with nirvana or joey weeds there f2s of the old ghs one mind you never tried old Dutch genetics one yet need to add that one to the list bud

I finally hit the Skunk #1, had the whole house to myself, and it's just your normal old school piney weed. Reminded me a lot of the WHite Widow. Another old school pine weed. After tasting something like Gelato and Pineapple Express, (which I prefer) the last two taste a little underwhelming. Am I a Bytch for feeling this waY?
Nah, I found most of what I grew of AG Seed Co to be mids but I could see uses it for it in the right breeding program.

These are some buds from Todd's NL5. I have grown out 30 of these so far. All the females have been potent. The flowering time is very fast. The plant these buds came from are done at 45 days. I grew some nl5 in 2001-2002. AGs are the closest I've ever found to those. They are also the strongest and best tasting NL5 I've tasted. I definitely recommend these seeds.
