SSSC 1980's Catalogue Strain List

Have you ordered from them before? My experience was not a good one, and these days I dont trust any seed bank that claims to carry that many rare strains in seed form with absolutely no documentation on theor production. Especially in fem form because even it is legitimately the strain they claim it is there is no way of knowing what traits they selected for the reversal. Like, is it selfed, or did they reverse one female and hit another, or hit a bunch of others and mix the seeds together.

They're S1s. They use fake breeder names also and 'borrowed' photos for the strains. As best I can tell they're some group of sheisty Californian Eastern Europeans that are buying and collecting clones and making seeds. Their autos are all likely crossed with the same ruderalis or auto strain. I stick with FEMS.

But there's good! I have grown several strains, and am in the process of growing more. I have about 50+ strains of theirs. Most are 3 seed-packs.

The Hawg's Breath is what solidified it for me, they aren't selling fake genetics. I had hawgs breath in San Diego and its the EXACT same. The wet dog smell and everything. The trinity also, it matches the description spot on. These are clone only strains. I'm growing Master OG and Cat Piss right now, I've seen Master OG flowered and I know what it looks like. The Catpiss I think, unfortunately, going by their description is the SSH Pheno.

But I wouldn't spend that money if I weren't sure. On my grow journal, a link in my signature, I will be providing updates as I grow different strains from them

I need to get my poop in a group and email akbb I'm real interested in some shit I've heard he has

39
Deathstar
Some skunks
cat piss

Shit I haven't seen in a while. I'm not quite the old head from that generation but I knew the old head here and he grew "super skunk #7" probably his own pheno hunt number but man he had that...cat piss...the original chronic. On the podcast when akbb said super skunk had the road kill in it...i lit up smiling because that's what this old boy had. He since passed away so I'm just looking to bring a couple good classics back to my room now that my state legalized

Grew up landing the Ohio deathstar that stuff still is in my heart too. I just need some older stuff man this new fruit booty stuff don't do it for me

The guy who posted right above you, Dankortowne, is AKBB, aka Dave.

I had sort of gathered by the name and the email address I had it was but didn't want to assume with how the internet is I was 100% correct.

I'm really scouting the AKBB, CSI Humboldt, and shoreline at moment really looking for that old school funk. Missouri lost it brothers:-(

Last I grew was in 2012 and the plant was some damn resinous and wild, from a bag seed I got from a bag this old indoor grower sold us...man when I chopped it down you could smell it all the way at the end of my driveway...probably a good 50 yards away. Thought to be Afghani or purple kush of some sort.

Appreciate the reply!
Is the website up to date on inventory? I had seen a list in the akbb thread but can't remember which page and its nearing 200 pages long.

So apparently, an insert in the 1990 catalog added three more varieties.. i think this puts an end to it...

46 - Super Indoor Indica
47 - Super Indoor Sativa
48 - Haze X South African

Dude, thank you for this. No really, thank you very much. You'd be surprised, this is the only place I could find this online thanks to you I have this info now. Completes my list. Very satisfying.

I have requested a few seedbanks to correct the details supplied for the origins of Frosty Friday.
Firstly SSSC, because I hoped it would have a trickle-down effect. They have updated the details to Creeper x Karel's Haze, whereas they previously stated M4 Creeper. Now, we know that M4 was never Creeper.
No flow-on has been observed, so as I encounter the incorrect description, I'm happy to point it out to the relevant seed company. Politely!
Tonight, I contacted Dutch Passion and Coffeeshopseeds.
Putting the work in.
