Small bugs very fast.

Hi all, I just start 6 seedlings in Cosst of Maine soil. I've noticed small grey bugs, very quickly scattering when I water. They scramble and quickly burrow or just seemingly disappear. Any guesses or a solution. Thanks

If they're fast-moving and stay in/on the soil, they're probably hypoaspis miles, nothing to worry about.

Do they appear to “jump” when disturbed? Could be springtails which are actually beneficial to your plant.

Haven't seen a jump just fast scurrying and ducking under the soil.
