Well I should buy myself a lottery ticket soon, because I came this close to losing my outdoor grow today.

The water is starting to come down now but was over 3ft at one point. Thank god I use garbage cans for my grow, or I would have been fucked. Insurance companies now arguing who is paying what, because they said they need a crane to remove it over my neighbours houses behind us. It’s lying on 3 houses but across 5 yards.

Could you use a chainsaw, butcher it in situ and pack it out in primal chunks like hunters do with large game?

I think they might need to cut pieces at a time and lift it out over the houses one giant piece at a time with the crane. It’s a big fucking giant tree and a lot on that backend on the neighbours. Although my grow should hopefully take off with the added sunshine they’ll be getting now.

Looks like a huge, invasive, fast growing, short lived, Manitoba Maple.

Just the branches it sprouted this year, after being trimmed last year, were many and everywhere. My mom believes the tree is well over 60yrs with the maturity it was when she moved into the house 47yrs ago. We had a huge bunch trimmed back 2yrs ago and the neighbour‘s last year removed a giant branch that hung over the house to the left of the house above. The amount of rain and the winds that came with it, had everything blowing sideways. I was working but could hear the thunder in the middle of the store, but my sister said the rain was so bad that you couldn’t see 2ft in front of you.
