Central NY grow….first time (Brothers Grimm genetics)

The best/most memorable strain I’ve had was Silver Pearl. Some close seconds would be Deepchunk, Sensi Star, Sour Diesel, Headband, and this unknown haze/sativa I use to get from the community college in my town….the stuff would really give you the giggles like nothing else, it was gold and had a super musky smell and taste. Wish I knew exactly what it was.

Week 7 update!!! Overall things are going very well….Berry and Pineapple are killing it, Apollo is doing good but has some deficiencies which I’m hoping you guys can help me figure out what’s up. Leaves are yellowing on the lower branches….it looks like nitrogen deficiency and nute burn at the same time….my mind is blown. Today was there second hand feeding….I upped the dose a little on the Advanced Nutrient PH perfect A + B with B-52. Topped Pineapple today but refrained from topping Apollo as I don’t want to put more stress on her till I figure out what’s going on with her. Berry is turning into a beautiful bush…..I’m extremely impressed. No topping on her, just a little LST and defoliation and wow. Purple is also killing it on my counter….have continued LST on her and topped yesterday. I’m gonna post Apollo pictures in a separate post so you all can focus on her…..Berry/Pineapple/Purple first!!IMG_6705.jpegIMG_6706.jpegBerry and Pineapple~IMG_6713.jpeg

Went to the garden today for my weekly feeding…..they’re all hungry. Apollo has some lower leaves that dropped of with some purple leaf stems. Berry was starting to show some deficiency but not horrible. They’re getting big and need feeding more then once a week for sure but with my situation I’m not able to get to the garden more then once a week. I’m realizing this set up isn’t the best for my current situation….it’s a learning experience for sure. Next time I’ll go all organic and do top dressings. With that being said they’re still very healthy….im knit picking a little but I want them to be perfect. Next year bigger pots and organic all the way outdoors. With that being said, the girls look close to flower….is anyone else seeing this in the Northeast yet? Thanks guys….heres a little picture from today….more coming tomorrow IMG_6760.jpeg

I’m Less than 10 minutes from you . Just harvested some GSC auto , from fastbuds . Another week or two , I’m harvesting 10 gorilla cookies from them as well .
We’ve had awesome weather this year . Aside from this past week - we’ve really only had a few rainy days this year .

I have some massive gorilla glue photo’s outdoor - along with some very nice greasy runtz from exotic genetics . I’m from brasher falls

Welp after a feeding yesterday the girls have bounced back and are looking happy. Gave purple her first hand feeding yesterday as well with a great response, feeling better about the girls today. I’m going to try and get another feeding in before next Sunday or Monday. Take a look!!

Looking good!!!! I love the bonsai you got going on! You can bring plants back from the brink of death if there photos! Never give up on them hahahahha

Hello hello growers….not sure about you guys but this is a very exciting time for me. Flowering season is here and both Pineapple and Apollo have started their flowering journey….it seems a little earlier then when most plants start but they both have heavy Jack Herer genetics which I’m guessing is the reason behind the earlier flowering. Berry isn’t far behind but isn’t popping pistils yet…probably next week. Went and saw the girls Sunday and was totally bummed upon arrival….they were all extremely thirsty and hungry. I gave them a huge feeding and watered the F#ck out of them. Went back on Monday and they looked fantastic….did a little lollipop on them and a minor defoliation. I also watered them again with some extra cal-mag. Wasn’t planning on going back today but some family was in the area so I checked up for the last time till I can return Sunday…again they looked great. Talked with my local hydroponic shop owner about the size of my pots/plants and they are for sure running out of space which means I’ll need to stay on top of feedings and waterings more then ever. It’s all good though…next year 25 gallon pots!!! Check out the ladies from a bunch of angles!!!!>>>>>IMG_6797.jpegIMG_6798.jpegIMG_6818.jpegIMG_6814.jpegApollo~ (really showing its sativa genetics, hoping for a nice main colas)IMG_6815.jpegPina~IMG_6816.jpegBerry~IMG_6817.jpeg

Thanks man…wish I could keep Purple (aka the bonsai) indoor but she’s starting to smell and wifey isn’t about it so next week purple will be going outside to flower. She’s from a test pack of a cross between Purple Urkle x Cinderella 99 them backcrossed with Cinderella 99….so it leans a little more to C99. She’s giving off Lemon Berry terps with some skunk in veg….im hoping that translates into flower, if so it’s going to be some piff.

Week 10 of being outdoor….around 1-2 weeks of early flower for the girls. Pineapple is ahead just a bit of Apollo with Berry just getting ready to pop some pistils. The stretch is on…each has grown about 3-5 inches laterally in the past week….you can really see this with Apollo and her main stalk (decided not to top her weeks back). Cant wait for all three to be in full flower!!! I’ve really been staying on top of waterings and feedings, which has proven to eliminate all deficiencies. This past feeding the girls received Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow ph Perfect A+B, B-52, and Sensi Cal Mag Xtra all at full strength. Next week I’m planning on doing a somewhat heavy defol on berry as she has some dense foliage….may do a little bit on pineapple as well. Check the pix>>>>>IMG_6831.jpegIMG_6828.jpegIMG_6832.jpegBerry~IMG_6833.jpegPina~IMG_6834.jpegApollo~ (starting to show a Christmas tree like structure)IMG_6835.jpeg

Nice garden! Organic dry amendments are the way to go, especially of you can't get there more than once a week. It's not too late to start, you'd only need bloom food something low n and heavy p like a 3-9-4. I'm in upstate ny by lake george, all of my strains started flowering same as yours. Stretch is just about done and the whiskers are coming in thick.

Nice, we’re in the same area, i’m a little farther up north.. Roots Organics Terp Tea Bloom is also a great flowering top dress amendment. It’s micronized so it breaks down super quick and is 3-7-4 with micronutrients and beneficial bacteria/fungi..a lot of the nutrients are water soluble to which is nice as you can add it to water and feed
