Have those been been drying out in those pots ?

Just out of curiosity the last picture, have you just dumped a plant out of a small pot and put it ontop of the full with soil big pot. Half of your roots are still exposed, they will probably dry out which will make more leaves dry out and drop off.

I'll be honest . I wouldn't put anymore effort into those plants , just start over .
