Tolerance, THC, or Terps?

I've only been smoking regularly (daily) since 2021. Currently I smoke about 2/day avg. About 1g/day total avg. Weekends tend to be a bit more at leisure; pinner tokes throughout the day here and there.

I'm just not really getting high anymore. I get relaxed, and maybe a little nappy at the end of the smoke sesh, but not the same highs I used to have just a year ago.

Is it how much I smoke, and need a break?
Is it THC content? I typically try to stay between 18-24% on avg
Is it just terpene selection?

Gummies/Edibles no longer get me high at all (had gall bladder removed in 2016 prior to smoking history)

I'm pretty active. Living in Alaska keeps you busy and active. :leaf:

You've built up tolerance to the drug. It's either up your dose or take a tolerance break usually 2 weeks to a month off will do it. However once your body has become familiar with the drug it will build tolerance quicker the next time. But you work out a T break routine over time. I hope that helps.

I kid :)

I am just now starting to grow my own. And that is basically just some experimental chaos trials right now.
I'm curious, some days I will smoke more, at least what seems like an all day fun day on a weekend, but once I smoke once, it just doesn't really do anything after that. I just get sleepy. It's a bummer and just isn't "fun" like that.

For sure! I used to just try to smoke my "favorites" and held onto that for a long time. But realized recently when I try a new strain I get that wonderful experience I'm looking for. So I started mixing it up a lot. I guess a break may be in my future.

I’ve smoked so long consecutively I haven’t been high or sober in years.. I’m floating somewhere in between.

I write that and think about how stupid that would sound to a person that is truly sober. :eyesmoke:

2 weeks! I find 8 hrs every two weeks to be effective. :eyesmoke:
I haven't grown in over a year :( and have to rely on top shelf 1/8ths, 4 different strains and switch them terpenes up.

Oh, Welcome!
