Can someone give me a step by step guide on how to use an Earthbox with cannabis?

The Earthbox site has 2 guides. The original guide is just using a steril lifeless soil (peatmoss) and put dolomite on top for ph control and micro nutrients I think, then making a trough to put one type of fertilizer for the whole run but it explains only for other plants not cannabis, I don’t know what fertilizer to use if I’m making a trough in the Earthbox since everyone always recommends 2 types of fertilizer for vegetation and flowering stage. And with this method, you begin watering day 1.

The second Earthbox guide is probiotics, like a living soil? its almost the same setup but this time you add compost on top and feed only compost while you use kashi for mycelium layer and em1 for microbes.

This link is the instructions for the earthbox original method https://earthbox.com/content/OG_EBX_Instructions.pdf

This link is for the Earthbox probiotic instructions https://earthbox.com/content/PWG_Instructions.pdf

this link is Dr earths basic feeding schedule for cannabis on page 3, I will only be using the dry feed Dr earth homegrow 463 (veg) Dr earth premium gold 444 (pre bloom), and dr earth flower girl 394 (flower). https://drearth.com/wp-content/uploads/Feeding-Schedule.pdf

my question is how would I go about using the Earthbox In general with orginal method and probiotic method with Dr Earth dry feed. What other additional things do I need, only the essential. how do I feed, when do I start bottom watering, from seed to harvest, and how do I prepare the earthbox and soil for the next grow.

Use the Dr Earth method. Once everything is set up just use it as you'd normally would with a normal pot. Seedlings would be watered with a spray bottle. Better method would be to start in party cups though (then when they get about 4 to 5 inches wide you you'd transplant the them into the earthbox). Lot easier to manage the watering. A lot easier. Once they get happy growing, about 4 nodes high and on, is when you'd want to start the bottom watering. You could probably start immediately but the roots aren't really established at this point.

When your ready to flip is when you top dress again, just use suggested ratios.

When you harvest is when you top dress again (along with fresh compost and/or earth worm castings) (I highly suggest you add the compost/EWC.. game changer)for the next run. ideally you'll give it a couple weeks to break down before using but not necessary. There's work arounds until the top dress breaks down. ( Like compost teas)

And that's it.

An earthbox is a sub-irrigated planter. There’s a whole group here that use them, and a good guide as well
