FPE vs LABs

I'm making a batch of LABs. I don't want to get too far down this Korean farming rabbit hole thing, but as long as I have labs I'm thinking why not make FPE? My question is what is FPE better for than just labs alone and why so? Is it just adding nutrients? If my organic soil already has nutrients should LABs be enough?

FPE and LABS are really about microbes. If you are running living organic soil, they can function as recharge.

I use homemade probiotics if my soil pH gets out of whack (basically a non-dairy LAB solution). I run SIPs, so I put it in my reservoir if needed. It's rare that I do and usually is preceeded by some hare-brained shit.

Some people use them regularly. I do not. I tend to rely on compost/EWC to keep my soil rolling.

If you are running salt feeds (DTW), I don't know that LABS or FPE would add value.

Seems like the FPJ is a direct feed to the plants and the LAB helps break down organic compounds in the soil to a usable nutrient. The LAb is great for them sink drainage that smell a little funky (trapped hair?) and in your backyard pet area. I use the LAB more than the FPJ and have both stored in the fridge.

I forgot to say I am running organic. I'm using SIPs too. Might try it in my res. Good to know it doesn't cause any problems there.

I read that FPJ and FPE are different. I decided on FPE over FPJ at some point but don't recall why I did or what the difference is between FPJ or FPE. I'm thinking at the least the LABs will help my organic grow some.

Thanks guys gives me some ideas. How much do you dilute?

I use a tablespoon of the LAB per two gallon mix about every three weeks or so. If your already dressing your soil with dry amendments you might want to go really lite with the FPE/FPJ
