Is she ready my friends?

Hello fellow cultivars, wondering if she is ready for some chopping. Here's some trichome pics of the cloudy spots along with some amber trichome shots. Pretty much the best i could do without a usb microscope but needed some second opinions. The lady is at day 50 of flower but she's well in over 5 months of growth overall. The colas are dense and she's starting so show some upwards wilting on the leaves with darkening and hardening of upper leaves (some sort of immobile nutrient issue I assume)

Remember counting days or weeks mean nothing to plant - plant will take as long as necessary to finish.

Even strain harvest info is only a guide.

A little bit of amber is not true sign of harvest. Half of those pistils are still white.

Hmmm, pistols have nothing to do with trichomes. Trichomes are the DNA of the plant. If they are amber then they are going past full THC levels.

Clowdy can be harvested
Amber 0 to 15 percent amber is perfect for harvest

White pistils mean flowers are still building. Meaning its Not done. Pistils are just as much of an indicator as trichomes..

So the trichomes being amber, which they clearly are l, means nothing if the pistols are white? That goes against everything I have read.

Some even harvest when all trichomes turn cloudy says that is optimal full THC.

I have never heard white pistils take more president over trichomes.

Those amber trichs you are referring to are on sugar leaves.
I don't smoke leaves, I smoke buds.
You Always check the trichs on the actual flower bract not the sugar leaves, sugar leaf trichs mature faster than the buds. Third trich shot OP posted has a lot of clear in it too so no, not ready.

In my experience pistils will keep growing regardless especially if you have a good light of course unless the plant is at end of life ready to shrivel up and die. You want most pistils to change color and recede into the buds. Once that happens is when I start checking trichomes. As far as trichomes go you want ALL cloudy with 10-15% amber for a more racy head feel and higher percent for couch lock and munchies feel. The pictures posted there are a ton of clear triches still and more than likely the amber triches are on leaves which you cannot base off of because the leaves mature faster than the buds. You can see in the pics the background is a lighter green color, that's a leaf and that's why your seeing amber.

Depends on where on the plant the trichs were scoped. I used to harvest plants too early because I was scoping leaves and getting milk and amber, but the trichs on the bud material were clear.

For those who were wondering, the trichome pictures were taken on the calyxes. I specifically used 80x magnification, and avoided the leaves, as crappy as the pictures are it took me like 3 minutes to hone in each pic. Regardless, I'm still waiting a bit longer because I don't see enough amber quite yet. When I hit like 30% on the calyxes and everything pulls back, I'll cut. But I definitely have a bit of time
