I think so but the only thing is that it's 95 degrees in my grow closet. They seem to love 95 and over. I had forgot and left heater on high at and it went to 110 for like 6 hours and.... they lived it. I don't get it. Mom gooey x old mendo haze.

If you’re rh is in the 70’s your vpd is good but this also promotes fungus growth. They look good :weed:

Really nice looking plants!

One item - the plant in the back left is getting light stressed. "praying" is a reaction to lotsa light and it happens because the auxins on the leaf surface are not able to handle all of the photons that are hitting it. Typically the leaf elevates slightly above horizontal. The angle of the leaves on plant in the back left is extreme. I love me some high light (>1100µmol) but would definitely move that plant toward the edge of the grow area. Interesting that it's so much taller than the other plants - is it older or a different strain or was it not getting as much light as the other (hence it stretched?)?

95° will get lots of growth but your cannabinoids and terps will tend to suffer. Bugbee has hinted at temperature being the key to secondary metabolites for a couple of years and one of his PhD students, Mitch Westmoreland, has done good research on that topic. A couple of years ago, Westmoreland did a video where he said that temps > 78° saw cannabinoids and terpenes plummet. That was the only mention of it I could find so I kept growing at >80.

In the past month, Westmoreland has done a couple of videos about his thesis work and, sure enough, that's pretty much the magic number. He does stress that it is strain dependent and they have seen an 8° C difference in the strains that they've tested.

Both videos are on YouTube, one for the Future Cannabis Project and, just yesterday, Shane @ Migro dropped a video interview. Both are well worth watching.

Re 95 and 55 - per the VPD chart that's 2.2. Yikes! Have you done other grows in those conditions? What's the smoke like?

Exact same strain and amount of light. If you notice, different pot sizes but i just transplanted like 6-7 days ago from solo cups. I just did a run of these and ill post a pic below. I ran 4 and I have 3 that are almost identical and one that's like 1.5ft taller and falling all over the place so i've got it all strung up but it's hard because it's so much taller. The 2 bigger ones I think will follow that path. The 2 smaller ones will probably follow the other.


In regards to temps above 78 ... so i'd be fine in veg but not flower right? I always keep flower tent a nice ~75 and sunny, 60 RH - no chance of rain.

Never done grows in those conditions before especially in flower. I happened to leave my heater on by accident and when i came back noticed that they appeared to like it. I held it at 90+ for 36 hours straight to see and they still looked like they loved it. However, I don't intend to do this the whole time. I kinda fucked up and started too early as you notice they're in my closet and my other grow still has about a week left maybe 10 days until i can harvest so the whole environment is fucked really until i get them in the tent but they're seeming to do rather well. I have 2 humidifiers just blasting but it's an open closet so without the heater on i can maintain 75/55 pretty easily and that's USUALLY where it's at.

I also intended to do that on my next grow but i forgot lol .... because it's going to be summer and hot in the day so instead of blast more A/C i'll just run the lights at night when the house is easier to cool.

Front left plant is the crazy one.... the big one we were talking about will look like that one imo.

My point was that it's typical to run lights on at night when it's cooler.
And off in the day when it's hottest.

Makes cooling the grow room and keeps the temperature difference smaller , a lot easier.

So if you aren't already running that way, then switch it round ASAP.

No point running at 95f if the basic things aren't been done to change that.


And , they may well not blink in veg, but in full flower at 95 f your going to see negative effects

Edit, the reason I said moon and Sun is to emphasis the fact I'm talking about actual night time and day time, as opposed to the plants day and night.

oh, looks like i put actual bud pics in there lol oops. that i made for 420 - rolled it in some warmed up batter and rolled her in some dry sift. was great.
