First time grower here. Have I burned one of my plants with Nutes?

I have two autoflower indica plants one is doing fine on a quarter dose Biobizz Grow, the other I am giving half dose and have some issues such as slight clawing of leaves, some browning and shrivelling of some of the leaves near the bottom. Wondering if I should flush or just skip the nutes for a while and hopefully she will recover.

I am growing in Biobizz light soil and general conditions for the grow otherwise are more or less optimal all round from what I have researched.

If anyone can shed any light that would be much appreciated!

Yeah, looks like a little nute burn, not bad. If the 1/4 strength is going well, then I’d stick with that, don’t flush just skip nutes once and then do the quarter strength and see how it responds. Bio buzz can be a bit tricky until you dial it in.

Thanks for your reply the other day, for the mostpart I think both plants look relatively healthy, but there is still the problem of the browning of the leaves of one on the lowest fan leaves and on the other some yellowing starting. Is this normal because they are perhaps the oldest leaves or is it the start of bigger problems? Just trying to get to the bottom of the issue before it gets worse/potentially spreads. I watered a few days ago the bigger plant with just plain water and next water I was planning to start with a little Biobizz Bloom maybe quarter dose to accompany ther Biobizz Grow half dose. any thoughts on what the progressing issues could be? Many thanks

Looks like potassium deficiency / lockout. I got it b4 and it can get worse quickly. I would only water or flush if you can. And start back 1/4 strength.

The plant is hot, looks over watered and droopy. Fix your temps and do a slurry test n report back

Temperature is between 72 and 76F with good air circulation but I think the problem was I watered to quickly as the dropping since fixed itself somewhat. Thanks for the input

That's good to know. I think maybe it makes sense to start with biobizz bloom on the next watering as that has good potassium in to correct the deficiency. Do you think that could be a good solution?

I'm not asking about circulation. Air exchange. What do you got going on for air exchange? How big of a exhaust fan? Timer?

That dead green light tissue is from water stress!! Drought to be exact. I’ve had it many a time when the plant out drinks its container.

Best to water every 2-3 days with a certain amount than wait too long. It can also be due to not enough water when watered.

Also it’s more prone in fabric pots I’ve noticed as the roots will dry and die out faster than a solid container

bottom leaf is usually lack of nutrients.as old leafs produce less and are in the biggest shadow plant kills them soo top can live.

Im going to start with BioBizz Bloom as well as the Grow next feed perhaps tomorrow, I have given the nutes in fairly careful amounts so far but will definitely step up dosages to roughly what Biobizz recommend per litre for autos (which is following the ALL-MIX schedule when in LIGHT-MIX soil so 1ml/L for both Grow and Bloom as specified on their chart for week 4), I also will introduce some epsom salts for magnesium. The stem does have a purple tinge, but the strain is blueberry so it could be strain dependent?

Advice taken on board thanks. Do you think though even if it is still damp an inch down three days later when i put my finger in, do you think it is still ok to water if the soil is not as dry as many imply it should be? im planning to water about 1,5litre next containing quarter flat teaspoon of epsom salts, 0,8ml BioBizz Bloom and 1ml BioBizz Grow. Im adding the bloom as I figured if the leaf issues were due to Potassium or Phosphorous issues it would rectify it.

well i use 0.5g for a liter of water in hydro sooo tea spoon is around 5g (quater is 1.25g?) i think could be a lot for regular use but since you have a deficiency one time should be okej

That ain’t magnesium lol

It’s from lack of water at one time leading to the plant tissues dying. It’ll soon turn very crispy if not already and happens in 24hrs.

I had it happen 3 days ago and many times before when a drought occurred.

Where you finger goes down to is not where the majority of the roots are. The roots go down/out. Many have hit the edges of the fabric pot now.

Stick a finger down the edge. Is it bone dry?

Sorry man quite confused as so far I've had over watered - underwatered - magnesium deficiency - phosphorus deficient - potassium deficiency - temperature issues, so as a first time grower just trying to find my feet and take on everyone's comments and sometimes there can be different views. Really appreciate yours and everyone's input though.

Could be from pH swings if you are getting it other than soil? Interesting stuff. I thought it was just moisture but make sense being pH related as the pH does swing when peat dries.

It affects the youngest leaves first. The leaf margins wilt and die very fast, damage happens in 12hrs in my experience of drought

Let me take a pic tomorrow of effected leaf.
