Examples of GOP Leadership

“The RNC has become a money-laundering operation for the most crooked president in history,” said Jennifer Horn, once an RNC member by dint of her former role as chair of New Hampshire’s Republican Party.
“The campaign doesn’t care, and it seems the donors don’t care either. I think people increasingly see the legal challenges as part of the campaign,” said longtime GOP consultant David Kochel. “He has to fight the ‘lawfare’ and the Biden campaign.”

My friend said that your lifestyle seems to be utmost reverential and is sure you would be a great neighbor to have.

By the way, my friend asked me to tell you that your assessment of his education is a little off. He too received his education from a Catholic tutoring system; grade through college (Bellarmine)

See you in church.

Unbelievable!
Gary, it's time for Trump's Christian followers to wake up and listen to what he's saying. I mean, really listen. A person who just cites scripture doesn't make that person right and by inference those they disagree with wrong. Just look at what Trump has written in his Truth Social account and ask if he's really a Christian leader? Ask if people who disagree with Trump are in fact acting against the faith expressed in the Christian bible? Not the “God Bless the USA Bible” , but the Christian Bible.

“God Bless the USA Bible” a Trump endorsed a bible? With Trump endorsed addendums? Trump endorsed cutting and pasting things written by men into the bible which is God's words to men? Trump did that on Easter Week, just days before one of Christianity's holiest days. This is sacrilege. No other way to put it.

I don't want to speculate as to why but if I, an atheist, can see that Trump's speech =-- the things he posts (Biden hogtied and thrown into the back of a pickup, really?), the threats of violence visited upon people Trump calls out as his enemies, all of that and more contradicts with Jesus' messages in the New Testament -- if I can see those contradictions so clearly, why can't you?

“if I can see those contradictions so clearly, why can't you?”
Im sure that question is being asked by many around the world.

Part of the problem is that current evangelical doctrine turns the teachings of Jesus on their heads into a hateful tribal repressive sadistic policy.

Jesus spoke against the strictures being preached by the big-money pastors.

You won’t hear that from the megapastors, though. No money in real Jesus.

That too, but I think the way he's quoting scripture at people has more to do with the lack of a coherent understanding of the faith they are trying to use as justification for their assumption of moral and intellectual superiority. They claim that their God created the infinite multidimensional universe in a thought and the bible contains these thoughts, yet we see in this thread, bible verses -- claimed to be the words of God -- are being turned into virtual bumper stickers.

Yes, many teachings of Jesus are turned on their head as witnessed by the behavior and words of evangelical Christians these days. But I think much of what is shown in recent bumper sticker-like posts is less about meaning and more about being part of that tribe.
