First time coco grow yellow blotches

Hey gents,

I'm doing my first coco grow and I'm having some issues with yellowing on the leaf and I think maybe stunted growth.

I have been using canna coco nutrients and I have used RO water with 200ppm of calmag added at the start and ha e been watering this week about 1.2 ec of feed phed at 5.7-5.8.

From the pictures can anybody tell me what the proper course of action would be?

I am thinking to flush with low dose cal mag and foliar spray calmag later in the week.

Any input appreciated!

Well it was once a day but recently twice a day. About 500ml so I get alot of run off. They are in 3 litre air pots which they have been in for 3 days now from 1 litre air pots.

It looks like some sort of nutrient deficiency. Flushing will only make the problem worse. Raise your A&B EC by 0.1 and you should be fine

OK so just more food simple enough! I'll raise the EC like you suggested and stick to two meals per day.

Any opinions on foliar feeding to correct the deficiency?

Thanks for helping guys I'll report back soon.

I think raising the EC by 0.1 should do the trick. I wouldn't bother foliar feeding to try and correct it bongsmilie

Also I've never grown in coco but I hear it likes to bind to cal-mag and potentially make it unavailable to the plant.

EDIT: And if this is actually the cause, a foliar treatment might work best. Smarter people than me might want to chime in.

I'll try and see what happens buddy thank you
Ya if the 1.2e included the cal mag and half of that (300ppm) is calmag it will mess with your ratios and would probably lead to a mag deficiency.

I fed 8ml of a+b during veg. gives you right around 100ppm of cal. Just feed at a higher rate and cut the cal mag down considerably

Cheers for that, it sure does make me understand the complexities of nutrient availability.. I will Lower the Cal mag as you said and up the feed so the total comes to around 1.4-1.5 ec.

Also you said you add 8ml of A and B what about of water is this mixed to?
