Help with my plant

Humidity jumps from around 50-60 rh. Temps range from 70-75 degrees, Fahrenheit. I watered Tuesday using the fox farm trio line big bloom etc, used the cha Ching nutrient salt, cal mag, and hydroguard. With the fox farm nutes I used about 1/3 strength. Watered with half a gallon (came out to 1200 ppm 6.3 ph). In a 3 gallon cloth pot. I checked the run off Tuesday after I watered and the ph came out to 6.3 also but the ppm only read at 600. Checked them this morning and it looks like this.

I can't make out how many plants you actually have, but at least one of them is a male.......throwing pollen everywhere.
Yeah I had two plants. And yeah one is a male I let it pollinate my female for the free seeds so that I can practice and not have to waste money on seeds. So one female one male that I let die off after he did his job.

May have been helpful to consult w/ someone prior to chucking pollen. I’m betting the female is gonna be nothing but seeds since the male has been jamming it into every orifice for so long. I’m no breeding expert…..but my understanding is a little dab will do ya.
good luck.
I’m not worried about it being seedy I’m not expecting to smoke it. I just want it to finish up nice. Still treating it as practice for a real go

Fox farm trio is not the best. And cha Ching I believe is for like the last 2 weeks. Make sure to use less of the grow big in flower.

What media are you growing in? They look a bit hungry to me, use the FF trio at the recommended strengths or just slightly less. Also, don't know what kind of light you have, but it appears to be weak or you need to move it closer to the plant. If you're in soil, don't chase runoff! When you say "It looks like this", what did it look like before?

It looked healthy before. Thank you for actually somewhat answering the question rather than just commenting. Yeah it’s in soil. I’ll move the light closer. How can you tell that it needs more light? What ppf should I look for?

Welp … not gonna lie this gonna be something.

First - you are using Trio ( highly concentrated ) salts up fast. Plus … you are cramming Cha Ching ( which isnt even needed ) … looks like you are not reading the label in its use. It is also another dense salt amendment.

Plus - you are “ checking runoff “ which would not be necessary if you fed with some control.

Biggest elephant in the room …. After all is said and done - a DEEP CLEANING because of pollen everywhere including fans - etc.

What genetics are they ? Crazy how you've only got one male one female your gna get loads of seeds to run through

They are bag seeds. One was supposed to be blue dream and the other one called ace cream but I couldn’t find that strain anywhere online so the female idek what she is. I had 5 seeds of grapefruit and none of them germinated even though I followed the instructions of the breeder. Which is why I chose to let it be pollinated for the free seeds so that I’m not wasting money.

PPFD, about 700. I can tell you need more light because of the large space between the nodes, and a lack of leaves.

The other thing that may help: Have you done a flush yet? The FF trio and Cha-Ching (which IMHO is unnecessary) are synthetic nutrients, the nutrients are chelated (attached) to salts (not table salt), when added to water the nute and the salt separate, the plant uses the nute, the salts acumulate in the soil and will eventually start interferring with nutrient uptake. To flush, water 3x the volume of the pot, let it dry and then go back to feeding at recommended levels. Hope that helps!

Edit: A mild bleach solution or even water sprayed inside the tent, on the soil (no chlorine), on anything stored in the tent, and inside the grow space will take care of the pollen. Wipe down all the electronics.

Thank you. I really appreciate the help! I have flushed once in the second month of veg because it was tacoing and having nute issues that I couldn’t figure out. Would you recommend flushing again? If I do flush should I follow up with a dose of nutrients? I am not sure if I should do the recommended dose of the trio because even without doing the recommended dose and doing 1/3 strength the ppm is still reading around 900.

You are a bit confused about salts. Salts are just compounds of positive and negative ions. When added to water the ions dissociate. Take potassium nitrate for example. The KNO3 separates into K+ and NO3- in the water. The problem is when the water evaporates. The ions then bond back together in various forms to form salts again. The K+ could bind with a S- to create potassium sulfate or it could attach itself to some other negatively charged ion to create a different salt. Calcium and sulfates can combine to create gypsum, and so on. I think I explained that right. I'm a bit rusty on my chemistry.

I would let it dry for a couple days at least, after the flush, before adding nutes, if you’re concerned go half strength on the nutes. Don’t worry about the ppm’s in soil runoff. My water has 1400- 2500 ppm’s right outta the tap!l, you can Damm nearly chew it!

Your explanation is more in depth, I was giving the quick and dirty explanation, the result is the same, salt accumulation in the soil that disrupts nutrient uptake.

On a side note.. those long thin stems are defying gravity already, you will want some support on them pronto or once those flowers get any sort of weight on them they will snap branches or split down the main stem where you topped it. Also.. and I know this is not advice you asked for so feel free to ignore.. but while I think pollen chucking and getting some seed stock right off the bat for practicing is a total Boss move.. it would really be in your interest to get some good stable genetics from a reputable breeder to start with.. because taking a plant full cycle from seed is a lot of time and effort and money to spend on a roll of the genetic dice (which is what your doing with bagseed).. food for thought. But I like your style man.

Thank you for the advice! Who do you recommend that ships anywhere in the US?

Do you mind going more in depth? I am new to the hobby. Why is it wrong what I’m doing if go off the feeding chart they have posted? Why should I not check runoff in soil, and if I have problems how would I know what’s wrong if I’m not checking the runoff? What would you do to fix the problem here if it was your grow?

I’m sure everyone on here has their favourites.. I like Great Lakes genetics.. the bloke who runs it is a member on here I believe also. And I like Bodhi’s strains personally and he has heaps of them but opinions are like arseholes, everyone’s got one.
There is a thread on here for people growing Bodhi’s gear.. you could have a look on there and see what it looks like and what people have to say about it if your interested.
