Wow got that dialed in awesome kinda jealous, lol
Hey @Dboybudz, thank you. No need to be jealous, we're all here to learn and grow. There's a lot of great information (to sift through) and folks to learn from on this site. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask, I'll do my best to answer or others (who have a lot more experience than I) can answer you.

Coco dtw is great, imo. Plants have been topdressed with a few amendments a couple weeks ago. Growing with natural/synthetic inputs kind of like a hybrid system. I enjoy the results.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a good and blessed weekend. Peace

*02/08 - Day 55 close ups

Gelato 33 - perfume, floral

Tuscan Gelato - floral, baby poo

Grape Fog - grape candy/soda

MAC1 - sour, citrus, complex
20240208_191350_copy_1393x1858.jpg

General notes:
_MAC1 is a slow drinker, would either veg longer, SOG mono crop or set irrigation zones.
_G33 is special, rich floral smells and quick drinker.
_Grape Fog had the longest veg time, smelling very grape.
_Tuscan Gelato's main cola has leaned over, so, zip tied it to the trellis, lots of growth.
_'Tuscan Dream', a parent in both GF and TG clones, is apparently a European version of Blue Dream.
_TG definitely stretched the most, followed by G33, then GF and last has been Mac, but certainly not in the trichome dept.

Hoping everyone is doing as well as possible. Peace ~

Love the reports on fragrances really curious on how they end up tasting. Looking really great! :weed:

They're looking stellar mate, very nice!
Thanks, Star Dog! The MAC is the frostiest strain I've ever grown or seen in person.. Imo, the biggest influences this round have been feeding a modified version of jacks with tap, implementing a 14/10>12/12>10/14 light cycle and using the ACI pro controller to help keep humidity/temps in line.

Awesome! I'll be sure to include more scents in my entries. I've tasted TG(floral) and GF(grape), both are great smokes and nice highs. GF has an 'upper' creative buzz and TG is definitely more stoney. The seeds you're getting soon have lots of flavor! Looking forward to seeing them grown and hearing your perspective :weed:

Amazing journal , love your full and close up compare. I hate when people only show close up of their bud for a journal only
Thank you! I enjoy looking at bud pics and getting to see how each flower blossoms. Environment plays a big role in their expression, so hopefully I've included all/most the important details. I have dropped temps (day 2 now) for these last upcoming weeks to finish out. Not using a dehumidifier, so fan is working extra to pull out humidity.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and dropping a line, appreciate the love. If anyone ever has questions about growing, feel free to ask here or send a message, I'll do the best I can to answer from my experience. Hope you're all doing well and having a good weekend. Peace ~

Do you like Jack's?

I'm testing out a dry powder nutrient atm
apparently its similar to Jack's only with cal/mag added?

It doesn't mean anything to me tbh but I'm trying it as a alternative to canna, its less than half the price per ltr/gal.

I filled the autopot reservoir with it a few days back and the plants are looking much the same.

That fert profile looks pretty great, a bit heavier on the potassium, but that should be okay. I'll plug it into a nutrient calculator and see what the numbers look like and share it.

@Star Dog, this is the elemental nutrient profile of using both parts @ .75g/L. I'll see how I can send the document so you can do your own calculations.

Thanks buddy I appreciate that but tbh it doesn't mean much to me, sorta like a foreign language :dunce:

If it works I'll be happy enough, over the years I've tried a few and they all worked fine so i expect it'll be ok.

I'm testing it in the autopot before I commit it to a full crop so that'll give a idea on how it's working.

Thank you.

I've been looking at Jacks too! I'll be very curious about what you think of it

No worries, definitely grow with what works for ya! That nutrient calc will be there if needed and lots of info on the forums regarding nutrient profile. Peace ~

Oh yah! Thanks for bringing up, think I missed that/forgot to answer.

I like using Jack's hydro 5-12-26. If I didn't have a 25lb bag to go through, I'd probably be using their 0-12-26 line but am very happy with the results I'm getting. The company has been in AG for years and provide an economically sound product. Using it in combination with other inputs including epsom, mkp, potassium and southern AG fungicide makes jacks 5-12-26 a great nutrient base.

Peter's is another line that's a less expensive brand with a similar profile. I've used Peter's Excell 1 part with success. King Solomon's nutrients line provides great results for a 2-part nutrient, but I would follow their chart next time I use it.

JR Croptech is probably one of the friendliest, down to Earth and informative nutrient companies in the US working in cannabis, imo. Josh and Ramsey (haven't met personally) have spent lots of time in R&D working with Aroya and other companies to forward their research, very humble about it. They also provide lots of great information and calculator on their website.

I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get into crop-steering or just looking for an affordable 'all in one' cannabis specific nutrient line. Their veg or bloom part A is used in a 2:1:0.1 ratio with calcium nitrate and cal chloride.

Next project I'll be building a dry/cure space when I'm able. Been inspired by the community diy builds and grows here; eventually I'll build a koolatron or win a freeze dryer! *Fingers crossed* Hope you have a good one ~

For anyone who hasn't seen these videos, they're filled with important info on crop-steering.

Ramsey, partner/co-owner of JR Croptech, explaining the purpose of the 3 phase irrigation events used to steer crops.

Josh, partner/co-owner, sharing why he doesn't recommend topping plants in a commercial facility.

Highly recommend this company and nutrient line for it's affordability, their research put into designing a nutrient specifically for crop-steering cannabis and their willingness to share with the community. Hope this helps! Peace ~
