well because this happened i will be restarting my 2x2 grow tent not upgrading :( and i wont be using any fertilizer because it will be expensive i will get a nutrient dense soil that only requires water the entire grow, i found one called purple cow indicanja, will only grow 1 plant in my 2x2 again. :(

On this page they provide a coupon code so all you pay is shipping

Check out megacrop they might send you a free sample which is enough to get you through a whole grow. I think there's a thread on it somewhere here.

That's shitty luck but who knows maybe something good will come out of it. As long as you are safe is the biggest thing time will go on and everything will fall back into place!

thank you i will look into megacrop

but the soil i was looking at supposedly all you need is the soil? from start too finish? seems like a cheap and good option for a 1 plant grow in a 2x2 tent <3

Hopefully insurance and if not some good people to start on roof and inspect might be able to just repair where caved in. Get it to where it's not leaking and get the important taken care of then worry about cosmetic like painting and all that when can.
i live with my brother and the house does have insurance but not insurance for a natural disaster if i remember correctly they tried selling us natural disaster insurance and we rejected it lol..... is this considered a natural disaster? :O, yeah we are thinking about who too call :(

sorry to hear about your misfortune. ewc guano an manure grows dank with just water and its usually a very cheap option.
can you dm me links to this ewc guano and manure? i found a soil on amazon with good reviews that says all you need from start too finish is water it says its nutrient dense? i was going too give this a try since im only growing 1 plant again :(

Oh man sorry to see that crazy shit happening. This rain and wind combo is crazy ass shit. Everyone okay at least hope?
yeah lol it is insane :(, and yeah everyone is okay thanks for asking man :)

i cant probably as i‘m not from the states but sourcing the ewc locally if possible would be preferable. fresh ewc is always better other than that no miracle nutrients i’m sure you have some sort of garden center or some sort of “we have it all” kinda store around you. you can get like the smallest bag of these three mix it with peat (i use coco) some perlite and just do your run with this.

all in all ewc will mostly provide the nitrogen with potassium, guano will be your P and manure will be your K source with some N. they will also be very rich in secondary and micro nutrients. so the brand even doesnt matter much. fresh ewc would be the bees knees though if you know someone who has a bin or something.

i always check here as well as amazon reviews, most people reviewing grow supplies on amazon have no idea what a good crop looks like. Heres a thread where someone supplies an analysis fo indicanja and says its weak for the price (idk how true that is though?) I ran a nearly identical side by side with the same clones last year 2 in Indicanja and 2 in Buildasoil3.0 and the BAS was the clear winner with the two. Most "water only" soils dont account for an extended veg with things like topping and LST or SCROGging just an FYI.

to add to this post i use ewc from my own bin, guano is some brand called guanokalong or something but have used plagron as well. just any high p guano would do and manure i use domestic products available here. this has been my whole regimen for a couple of grows now. really no secret to it very basic very easy very nice results.

edit: if you ever want to go no till with this method i’d suggest adding basaltic rock dust/sand, zeolite and lava stones. some materials that will slowly leach micro nutrients into the soil over a long period of time but for a single grow they are not necessary and will not provide any benefits.

Really have to dig into the water only claims. I have a local business that runs a few dispensary's and does all their own grows. They figured why not sell the soil they make up in house. Its marketed as a water only soil...but the fine print indicates that they expect you to be running 25 gallon pots at a minimum and they run a very high ratio of perlite to the point that its almost like filler in the mix. When you try to run it in say a five gallon pot, it falls off pretty quickly.

I had the same experience with the Coast of Maine Stonington blend that is the company take on a Cannabis water only soil. It was better than the local mix I mentioned above, but still ran out of steam too early for my liking and its running almost $40 a bag locally.

It doesn't seem like there are many premade soils that are catering to the hobby grower with smaller pots, is the overall point of my rambling I suppose.

One little tip also if you use vermiculite instead of perlite it contains natural silica which is what trichromes are made of and few other things, helps to make dense buds and resin. Actually just watched a video on a professor of plant biology for soil recipes ;)

Yea build a soil is a really good guy and knows his stuff and explains everything in detail that easy to understand.

ive also run the stonington soil and it was pretty good imo, but as you said not a true "water only" soil. Coast of Maine has the benefit of some of the freshest fish/crab/lobster/shellfish meals. I think the problem with a "start to finish water only" soil is that for it to be strong enough to last months of watering and the bloom cycle, it would be too strong for seedlings/clones/very young plants. Maybe someone should make a 2 part system of "water only" soils, one being stronger for bloom. I like the products that Build-a-soil uses and their top dress products that are intended to fill the gap that as you alluded most of these companies arent addressing.

Ive been listening to a podcast called The Breeders Syndicate with Matt Riot and although his rep here isnt the greatest(sometimes for good reason), ive learned a lot from the grower interviews there and he addressed the "water only" thing on an episode, i wish i could remember which one.

tbh i dont use perlite at all but for a single run its just the easiest and most available material for the op to source even if he doesnt have it on hand.

Sorry this happened. Man I know this sucks big time. If you need nutes, Athena is giving away their pro or blended line I believe. All you have to do is send a pic of a grow to them on insta. You may need to make a small sign in the pic stating something.. I forget exactly what it is.. but if you’re up to using their stuff it’s worth checking their instagram page for the post advertising the giveaway.
Hoping good things come your way asap! :peace:
