Smoking green popcorn

So…. One of my lollipopped plants (White Rhino) started growing little flowers at the pruned areas. (I’m not sure this is even mature enough to call a popcorn bud). I’m in week six of flower now, so these probably are less than four weeks old… Probably more like two weeks.

i’m about as green of a newbie as you can get. I don’t smoke much, and I’m here really to just learn as much as I can. Some of the posts I have read regarding popcorn buds is that they are of lower quality and really good mostly for hash or edibles. I also have encountered a few posts where people were wondering about smoking the green bud or uncured cannabis.

The consensus is, it’s horrible, grassy, harsh,… Only crazy people do this.

BUT It’s the kind of thing you’ve got to ask about, but then experiment for yourself.

this little bud is obviously very, very small, it’s way down low and hardly gets any light, and obviously not mature. Nevertheless, I plucked that little thing off and crammed it in my vaporizer. Cranked it up to about 425°, knowing that I would have to burn off the moisture. Also, knowing that that high heat would be “harsh” or irritate my throat I sucked in enough air to fill my mouth without it going into my lungs and then inhaled those little mouthfuls to try to cool things down.

It wasn’t what I would call Pleasant, but it sure wasn’t horrible either. Did irritate the throat

I smoked it at about 9:10 AM. At about 9:15 AM, I would say I had a little bit of a beer buzz going, and thought that would be all I would get from it. At 9:30 AM, I was pretty Flippin high. It’s 12 o’clock noon now and I would say I’m kind of coming down.

Just to be clear, I would be high for most of the day if I smoked 1/3 g of the good stuff. Smoking a little bit of shoe leather would probably get me high.

The point I am trying to make here is that, as a newbie, it’s great to have a wonderful resource like this forum for advice, but nothing compares to your own experimentation and experience.

Don’t know if I want to invest in the equipment…. I’m sure I will have well more than I could ever use before too long and can be picky about what and how to use it. I DID make some gummies using coconut oil but need a new recipe as I did not like the taste or texture….but at the end of the day, I’m not eating them for their culinary appeal either.

What temperature do you usually vape at? I was thinking that moisture would burn off at 212°. Does that make less smoke and more air? I don't have a tempurature contollable vape.

425 degrees is what he said.

Next time microwave 10 seconds at a time until dry. It will still suck to smoke but at least its dry. hahahaha

I am new to the vaping as well…

I usually start out really really low because I can taste the plant better. Like 325°.

I will take a few inhales at that temperature and let it settle in.

Then I will increase to 350° and so forth until the top temperature I would usually use is 425°

Then I save everything… All the already been vaped material… And grind it up any coffee grinder and add it to some ground up CBD flower that I decarb in the oven. Fill up capsules and eat them with varying degrees of noticeable effect.

I have an Arizer solo II. (Also an Arizer tower).

I guess I just wanted to burn off the moisture quickly.
I don’t get much smoke/vapor out of either one of those devices. I have to really blow into the sun if I’m in a darker room to even see that there is smoke/vapor coming out.

I have seen that people would do that. I just figured I wanted to make sure I got the full value and wasn’t vaporizing anything unintentionally in the microwave. I will give it a try though if I ever ever repeat this experiment.

OK. It’s 5:30 PM now and I just got up from a half hour nap. I’d say I’m back at beer buzz stage.

Seriously 8 hours of highness from smoking a fraction of a fraction of a flower green and immature.

Is there anyone in the world that gets high as easily as me?

Popcorna are as good as any street weed.i smoked them smoked the leaf you get high just its a strong agresive high that lasts maybe 15-20min a lot racier.
Why we hate popcorn is because of the trim stage ahen you cut all the leaf for 20min and you get a tiny little guy then you dry him and you cant find him how small it became

I usually leave it on my table for 2-3 days it gets crispy dry
