Are these the eggs of spider mites?

Hello,

This plant is being kept as a mother. I was hoping to take cuttings this spring. The following pictures are of the plant and then magnification of the under side of some of the fan leaves. It doesn't have any of that "white" mite telltale on the tops of any of the fan leaves. Are these the eggs of spider mites?

Could be, but in my experience there will be spider mites at various life stages around those eggs(?).
Where are the 'parents'?

They definitely look like mite eggs, and I’m experienced with the little bastards too. It is strange that there are no adult mites in the pictures.

Or visible leaf damage. That's a lot of eggs if that is what they are. Should be generations running around.

Those are trichomes. If you had that many visible eggs, your plant would have little white spots everywhere and webs all over the top nugs.

Not necessarily. I’ve had mites come up VERY quickly, starting on the bottom of the plant in veg. One day nothing, then two days later eggs very similar to BroGro’s pictures. They don’t tent to make webs at the top until the plant starts flowering and the infestation is a couple weeks on and untreated. The spots on the leaves do show up pretty quickly. The mystery is the absence of adults.

They are eggs of some type.

Grobro, mites HATE water and wind. I’d knock those eggs off asap with plain water in sprayer with some pressure. Go on Amazon and buy a pint of PureCrop 1. It’s super mild and has always worked for me. Then keep a decent fan on the plants.

I just researched that. I’ve never seen trichs on the bottom of leaves like that. It certainly explains the lack of bugs. Learn something everyday.
