Help setting up a drying space

Hard to construct what I want to ask. Basically, if this were you what would you do to trouble shoot and trial and error?

If this happened under great conditions would you consider this strain just one of those that tend to nanner too easy and value it less for that?

I worry it will seed too soon and ruin the results, its already considered bad smoke but ok extract.

I worry if I should still look out for replacements or just chill out and narrow down the possible causes and see how it goes. I would be harvesting every 8-9 weeks clones.

Dude, you just made it to harvest with only a few seeds. You have changed 917 things throughout the grow. Just keep working with it. Chances are, you will continue to dial in your space and cause less stress each grow. A couple seeds hurts nobody. Now that you have grown this one to completion, you know how it acts and grows. Keep working with what you know. As long as it checks your boxes for resin or smoke or whatever.

Well I started off while I can, stepping in tent to see light leaks. From the bedroom light, it peaks in through a couple areas a little. Not enough to show on camera, is that negligable?

I saw both sides of growers saying a little light wont hurt and some notable growers saying opposite. Like moon light or street light/garden lights.

By the way, its more than a few seeds, not sure if I made it clear but it was several in every nug. Enough to make it a bad smoke to most peoples standards.

So I have to improve for sure. Can a plant express stress with nanners in areas its not recieving the stress? I.E nanner in leg area but light stressed on top?

I can eliminate the obvious but what stumps me is it must of happened at week 6 flower which everything was pretty ok then with two plants.

I chopped an oz at week 8 seedless so maybe I can chop sooner and keep extra guard for nanners. Calibrate ph meter, start giving like .9 or .7 ec last weeks of flower. No light stress.

Can too many fans cause it? Its windy down there where the nanner appeared in leg area. I am planning on running just this strain as clones and chase for the same results at the press.

Well yup its listed everywhere ph issues can do that but it stayed green which is surprising. It could of been recent but if it was even .5 off during the time I suspect the first nanners came lol that would make sense.

I actually am smiling hoping this was the cause I ador this strain a lot its my first cash cow. I have a brand new one sitting ready to un box as back up and will surely get a bunch of quickcal solution and use it religiously.

I will say I chopped last plant so the reservoir needed like no maintenence and wont be since I have appropriate sized pots now. So ph meter wasnt used and must of dried out a bit.

So it acted really funny just now so decided to calibrate it. It must of been off but not by this much but its possible. I store dry because this brand cannot store.

About to call store about the error message and also ask why I cannot store it with solution, just dries out into crystals and super tough to open.

Wow I was due to call just was lazy but learned a few things. Its likely the paper strip that comes out, you keep pulling it out when more is needed and it helps read the ph.. Mines like gone, to mush.

Also he suggested I just use ro water instead of storage to store it to make it work.

Said try soaking in cleaning solution too. Need to take care of my ph meter! I always wondered and tried asking on this site what the heck those strips were.

Wow, I actually like the ph drops. Silly as it may be, I didnt like looking at the chart it came with, took too long to figure out where the color lands.

The drop test bottle has a scale on it thats quicker to compare and so along with some practice, I could see this rivaling a ph meter. I didnt notice this at first.

I already got another meter and will use it right because my reservoir was sitting at below 5, was red. Like a 4 almost.

The test kit being accurate is a significant upside. Dont take to long to use as I remembered. When this meter goes out I might switch to drops.

Is it your first run with it? If it's just how the plant is and it's producing seeds, probably not a keeper. I have had fantastic plants that threw late nanners but didn't seed at all.

Oof, hope thats not the case but as I keep looking into it its worth trying again seeing if I can dial things in to not cause stress. Yes first run but chopped a branch early and had no seeds.

My reservoir was very likely off enough in ph to cause it. Practically blind ph adjusting when not using meter correctly.

As TCH said theyve been watching the whole grow and I did change a lot of stuff and now the ph thing. I put them through a rough time.

There were no nanners anywhere, I looked at pretty much all of them, it was the last second, getting rid of the larf popcorn that I saw a raisin like blown out banana.

So its not like a bag seed or whatever youd expect a nanner palooza that would make for a nice monkey edit. Two spots.

I do worry about it seeding too soon and not giving me same results on the press but like TCH said, if it does then keep it for now.

In short, possible cause: Heavy defol 2 weeks into flower, 20F increase in temp suddenly for few days, 1400ppfd in the center growing into the light. PH basically not being measured.

That is when the early pollination must of happened. If I have to bean hunt again so be it, it would be too good be true if I already found something special.

Lets say even if my ph meter “was” working decent, for my reservoir to test at a 4 ph with drops after when Id expect it to be over 6.5ph for sitting there based off routine.. Pretty good chance its been off during the start of flower.

Half a mind to just use drops instead, they stay accurate. The test bottle quickly breaks it down to solid colors you can identify in seconds where as trying to see where it is inbetween takes practice.

Is this talc from huey with tap water?! I dont think I seen this so yea I guess.. RO water only yall! Dont waste 50$.. I got a new one Im just throwing this away.

Summer time. First time harvesting in these conditins. Humid so instead of huey I have both huey and dehuey on inkbird. Can fan/carbon filter on low pushing out the filter outside tent. Keeping it a dead 60rh in tent.

It sets up lung room according to needing humidity or dehumitification. It could house a reptile and id trust it!

BEWARE dehueys CANNOT operate below 65f will freeze coil. Protect your $200 dehueys! BN Link temp probe and caliber meter are 2 degrees different but its keeping it 68F turns on at 65F so its protected.

I simply must dry in 68-69F this season. Usually 40-45rh basement in dryer seasons so only huey is on at that time.

But yea about the dehueys, I didnt know that and should of by now maybe you didnt know either. It often drops below 65f up north here.
