I have a 3x3…..for yeild would it be better to go with four 5 gallons, four 7 gallons or six 3 gallon pots? Do air pots yield any better than fabric? Thanks.

The pot size is largely irrelevant if you're using coco.
I've noticed no difference in quality or yields since moving to smaller fabric pots.
The only distinction is the frequency of irrigation.
If hand-watering is the only a option, a large pot is a reasonable choice, otherwise it's just a waste of coco.

all my 3x3 tent grows , four 3gallon pots. max id go in a 3x3 is four 5gallon.you don't want to veg long in a 3x3 ,i normally go 28-35 days veg top/lst

If you’re going for yield I’d recommend one plant or multiple of the same pheno and use trellises. If organic soil I say more soil is better.

I agree- I started with 2 gallon fabric pots- switched to 3 gallon.
Recently- I found a bunch of leftover 2 gallon pots so I decided to use them up.
I am not noticing any difference in the size of the plants, and in fact, I am using less water/nutrients so it has been a bit easier.
Feeding 2x daily.
The 3 gallon pots are a little better at keeping the plants from tipping over.
Indoors- I would not go over 3 gallon unless you have a higher ceiling than 8’
