Is decarbing herbs other than marijuana useful?
Haven't thought that, but I dought it. Most things, if raw would be cooked beyond use. If cooked they would already be decarbed if it's going to happen.

I really can't imagine decarbing a carrot. That would seem to be pointless because of...(something).

You know, I'm just ripped enough right now almost sounds like the answer to the worlds problems. I'll try to run that through my head this evening.

Lol I want to catch up to you there. I wasn't thinking in the context of cooking, though I see that makes sense. I was thinking in the context of making essential oil or tincture consumed raw but decarbed. I should have specified, lol. Probably wouldn't do a carrot but maybe carrot tops or oregano, or mint, for example.

edit: I guess my question is whether terpenes and other compounds that make up tastes and smells can be decarbed like THCA (and therefore have an OH on them?)

Funny. I sort of remember writing something, but I can't remember why. I stay too stoned. LOL At the time it just brought out some "profound, world changing question of the ages". The kind you can only understand when...

sorry guys I'm talking edible. These guys say you do decarb (example brocolli) butt I want better source. They are probably selling this for weed and just want mommy to see that and she thinks its for brocolli. I mean "you're feeling gooooood" is not talking about brocolli I thinks.

Why is decarboxylation important?
Decarboxylation is important because without it you wouldn’t feel the special effects of the plant! For example, if you ate a handful of raw plant material right now, you wouldn’t feel any different than eating a handful of regular lettuce! However, if you ate a handful of decarbed plant material…. Well, let’s just say you’ll be feeling gooooood.
