I use 4 8 port manifolds for 12 plants, capping off 2 ports on each manifold so I get 2 lines per 8 inch pot as recommended. Do they also call for 2 lines per 4 inch pot? Then I'd do that.

Edit: one of those pumps is plenty.
So basically you have two lines straight from the manifold for each plant? I thought people use a tee to split it and clip each side to pot.

I just dont know if adding another manifold is the same thing as splitting lines, it seems to work fine with half inch tubing all the way to the halo.

That is what Floraflex recommends. I don't use haloes, 2 tubes into a floracap for distribution. Works for me.

Jeez so I am no where near done yet with my setup and already 20 pages long. A little uncertain which idea will work for my setup. Id need to know how to assemble those white pvc tubing, is it like regular pvc, just use cement or etc?

Its hard to picture 4 8 port manifolds in a 2x4 with how everything is as is. Small space. Could this be why my single use cap isnt working, because I split the line to it?

Yea thats what I was wondering along with how to actually setup those pvc pipes or where to buy them on the floraflex site. How to connect them to the pump, a fitting with half inch barbed for tubing?

I am trying to have 8 half gal and 4 1L floraflex pots with hard caps with clip on tubing. In the 2x4. 8 half gal pots in 2.5x5 tent.

Maybe I can frankenstein around and see if a powerful pump can work with splitting each line or look for two 16port manifolds or make 3 8 port manifolds to connect to a main line from pump.

Maybe the answer is somewhere inbetween that.

Half inch barbed fitting into threaded adapter then 2 part solvent weld to join the pipes.20231230_084411.jpg

And a shot in the dark of a one time observation. Plant question. My flower tent 2.5x5 been seeing 47rh on the caliber for some time but never see when it hits that. At lights off I peeked in there before and was 41rh.

Today I wake up early 3hrs after lights on, the dehuey was off and reading 35rh instead of working pretty hard mostly nonstop. But the rh spiked in lung room and flower tent so I think this is when it spikes.

Any ideas why? Fan exausts straight outdoors and negative air pressure, giant holes in door to pull in fresh air from inside the house outside of grow room. Is the house/outdoors spiking in rh?

Are plants transpiring heavier like its waking up for the day? One things for sure its doing this daily I just dont see when it happens until today waking up early.

On contrary I used to see spikes at lights off but thats when stomatas close which makes sense because I am seeing the opposite with this grow.

Another plant question. So my space cabinet, 1x1’ box. I chose to do autos in there for reasons I am now questioning.

Nanners and sacs from autos, how high a risk is it if it does that? How long can the pollen linger? Would you switch to 100% trusted clones and only leave a spot open to test new genetics so its worth the risk?

Would you eventually just run trusted genetics youve ran for a while and just run clones in a 1x1’ box ? Maybe try finding other ways to make it interesting like making bizzare structured canopies since Ill know so well how they grow.. Any thoughts?

Might do away with autos idk, just been wondering. I guess my idea was once I had the genetics I want for a while that the auto space cabinet would be something new but having second thoughts.

I want rosin 100% so Id also run the risk of not yielding rosin each time so I just dont know. Running the same genetics in a tiny box sounds boring. Any ideas to make it more fun while lowering risks if any exist?

What if I made the box the test site of new photoperiod genetics? Grow it out enough to take a few cuttings and flip..

Like, say you have a 2x4’ veg tent, 2.5x5 flower tent and a 1x1’ box just for fun thats hooked up the one size fits all system… What would you grow in the box?

Granted having veg tent in flower room may not be ideal due to different RH needs. Perhaps thats why one my plants look like its suffering? Leaves are clawing a little.

Or is it the maxi bloom for veg that I decided to do? Light was a bit close on 100% so I raised it recently if thats also why. Looks yellow and I normally have great veg plants in coco.

Only other thing is the floraflex pot is new and not running correctly.

Jan 13 will be 11 weeks and Jan 27 would be 13 weeks flower for this WaterMelon Ultra. A video of most of the plant, what yall think, how much longer?

This is big reason why I chopped the other one early. This is doing the same thing suddenly. Falling apart. I cut it, its just softening up on stems collasping in my hands barely touching it. Hopefully not damping off??

There goes a qaurter of the plant. I took it pretty far though 8 weeks flower, 8-9 week strain of the voided breeder times but I do take it as a small sign. Will let the rest go if it dont fall collapse what ever is going on here.

For sure using nets or stakes or whatever. Could be because plant is so big and my inspired idea of running smaller plants should help?

So unstable it took more colas with it just trying to remove it. It sat like this for who knows how long I guess overnight. Luckily I peeked in there just now. Welp at least I get to get a thorough sample of rosin out of this.

Crazy but this time not gonna chop whole thing out of panic because its all thats left for a while and etc. Crap this sucks. Plant does wobble as I walk by it, the floors are depressing making the big heavy ass plant wobble.

Another chunk will surely collaspe and most the plant will be gone… Should I just serve trim jail this weekend and get it over with? Or get a stake and tie it to that… Again most the stuff is collasping off.

Once it does that I dont want to risk infection mold rot etc. So I just the collasped colas. Its actually 10 weeks flower but took 1-2 weeks to flip due to maturity. See talking myself into it but this time checking with the community.

Theres no debating trying to hang them back upside. I dont want to risk anything with those.Tying to ceiling I just saw someone do that like one suggested but idk how I would with this setup atm.

Going to just ride it out, I can see its still growing in the mid canopy area and below but a lot of the structure it done so going to wait a couple weeks and get a bud trimmer to see if this strain goes well with it.

Going to just find a way to prop up the rest.

edit prob like 2oz which with this beloved strain would be 8gs rosin which would be almost the amount I got from the other plant from 5oz. That yielded 11gs rosin so yea 15% yield is critical to this not feeling like too much work.

Last plant was 5.3oz and yielded 11gs rosin so to have 2 oz from a quarter of the canopy is looking good, this may actually be a better yielder in flower than I thought. This plant only had 35-40% of the tent space.

The other plant took up the rest of tent and only yielded 5.3oz so yea. Yields not looking too bad so far. Cant wait to grow out some clones of this, taking up more of the tent space this time. The full 2.5x2.5’ half of the tent.

Help needed. Trying to make a drain away system with 4 drain away trays and want to make the other side the same, so 8 trays.

Setting up one side for now but want to make it so I can connect the other half of the tent when that plant gets chopped.

I am not sure what I need and what its called but I think I can find everything at the home improvement store but want to be sure I set up correctly.

My guess is pvc and fittings. Was leaving this pic as a template but will draw what I was thinking of doing.

I was thinking something like this, the blue is the drain bucket and pump. I was thinking use pvc and fittings but not sure what they all are and if you just connect with cement.

Then let it drain out but when ready to do the other 4 plants I just put a tee fitting to connect and drain in the drain bucket.

I found a video of someone assembling with 3/4” fitting that connects to pvc. I see you can cut to size with that tool off screen, like scissors for pvc.

Maybe I can make two rows of 4, the edges will have an elbow imstead of a tee.

Have the pvc resting over the drain bucket with another tee to make a nipple so it doesnt spray over the pump which this little giant brand pump says cannot submerge.

Will this work? Its hard to work with these things not sure how the water will find its way to the drain bucket with such a shallow slope to push the water where you want it.

I said pages ago that you should just put a single large tray in there and stop messing with individual ones. You've got so much tubing and piping. All you need is a single drain from a single tray. They make trays exactly the size to fit in your tent. If you are trying to save money then you can repurpose a rubber maid tote.

Something like this is is pretty cheap and would drain all your pots at one time. https://groindoor.com/products/active-aqua-aalr24b-low-rise-flood-tables-outside-dimensions-black?gclid=Cj0KCQiAtOmsBhCnARIsAGPa5yZxNygwHsZV8P_2r6HJHaH6-UOxnR0EPCqwOgmjnE_3watoNyVAkNwaAmYnEALw_wcB

I just wasnt sure how you would install something to drain it, I forget what I last saw but do you mean just put the condensate pump inside there? My tent is 2.5x5’ the two by four is all set for now.
