My first indoor grow, many years ago, was an auto and I think I set a record for the longest growing AF…….it just didn’t wanna finish like they’re supposed to. And I didn’t know why.
I ended up letting it go some crazy amount of time…..19-20 weeks and it still had not “finished”. What it had done, however, was grow too long….despite not being finished. And the terp profile was all but gone. Much less sticky and smelly than it was a month before.
I came to learn that healthy plants finish out like they’re “supposed to” and plants that are struggling do not.
It’s really late in the grow to make any meaningful adjustments. I would look at my trichomes with a jewelers loupe and if most are cloudy, I’d harvest.
I can’t say what the main problem is without more details…..
If the buds appear to be progressing….meaning white pistils turning brown and receding back into the calyces, the calyces are swelling etc.
You might consider just giving water and letting her go a bit longer.
I just know the longer it limps along, the more likely it is to dry out and leave u with buds that aren’t as good as you’d have if harvested right now.
