Last one, I promise. Had to go all the way to Mesa to get it, 250 miles or so, and this is how I got her home. Bet you don't see this shit every day.

I saw a supercharged Goldwing at the Rock Store, had the blower mounted where the carbs go and a 4 barrel carb on top of it. It did a burnout through the first 3 gears then hooked up. It was crazy. I also saw an overhead cam boxer BMW, guy was a machinist and built it from scratch.

I picked up a 1965 T120C 650 Triumph awhile ago. I think the PO used to flat track race it. It is a limited production race model, 635 made in '65.

As a kid, a buddy of mine that lived down the road had a big old Schwinn tandem bike with a motor strapped to it. Thing was equal parts ridiculous and fun.

I started out with a honda ps50 moped in 1971. I put a peace decal on one side of the gas tank and a flower decal on the other.

I picked up a 1965 T120C 650 Triumph awhile ago.

Never actually rode a Triumph. Some dude offered to trade me a Triumph 900 sport bagger kinda bike for my Goldwing, think it may have been a Daytona. Kinda wishing I'd made the trade.

My brother had an early 60s BSA at one point. Weighed a ton. Leaked oil from everywhere. And ugly? Stiff? You bet.

My Yamaha 650 Twin, the ride prior to the GL, was designed like the Triumph.

They were little fucking buzz saws! It was a fun bike for an urban area but for any lengthy country rides, not so much. I had to stop every ~40 minutes to give my hands a chance to get the feeling back in 'em.

My brother had an early 60s BSA at one point. Weighed a ton. Leaked oil from everywhere. And ugly? Stiff? You bet.

They had an automatic chain oiler that needed to be adjusted. They are dry sump engines and will wet sump sometimes also. Gasgacinch is needed for the gaskets, won't leak then.

My triple had rubber mounted bars, but it was a 3 cyl so it didn't vibrate like the twins.

I also started out on a Honda 50. Wanna say I got it in '83, when I was 6. Pretty sure I could ride a dirtbike before an actual bike. Mine looked a lot like this, but red.

My first bike was a 66? CB 450 Honda with a 750 tank on it. The original tank was an ugly chrome and black blob.

I would sit on front and hold on to bars when I was same age nothing that fast just the 185 Honda 1980
