Blaze & Daze

Lol I was like inbeween 16 or 19 and about 105 soaking wet some people who shall not be named found it funny as hell to watch the skinny kid ride that thang and if I wanted to go it was the ride lol
I bought my brothers Triumph Bonneville 650 when I was about 16, I don't remember what I weighed back then. Graduated to a 750 Trident a few years later. The rubber on my footpegs were ground off at a 45 degree angle from cornering. This is the only pic of me on one of my bikes. Used to go to the Rock Store on Sundays on Mulholland drive where all the bikes went. Saw some cool stuff there.

That's serious power for your size back then I started out on my dad's Honda 185 on/off road 4 cycle he used to ride to work. I would of loved that one.

... Every so often, I see a GL1000 dirt cheap. Always wanted to pick one up to make into some sort of Frankenstein ratrod type of bike. Seen some nifty ones over the years ...
1975 to (I believe) 1980 were great models to turn into Frankenbikes. I think in 1981, Honda went with all the matching panels and fairings so you couldn't tinker with them the same.
