Google providing conflicting Info

So I did some googling before asking, and I am getting answers all over the place.

What is the realistic time frame for a soaked cracked auto flower seed to break the surface when planted directly in the final pot?

I soaked the seeds for 24 hours in a 25% Humic Acid Solution, Both seeds cracked and the tap root was visible but not extended outside the husk. The were then planted directly into the final pot which has Dr.Bugbees 50/50 Peat Vermulctite blend soilless media. I am seeing numbers on google of 2 to 14 days. Not really worried, more curious, I am only on day three in the soil.

So from those with hands on expierence with autos, what kind time frame am I looking at realistically for them to break the soil? They were planted between 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep.

That might be a little deep. But they will be fine, just might take a couple days longer to break the surface.

I germ in the paper towel. Plant them once they have 1/4" - 1" tails. I make a very small hole in the soil using a poker or toothpick (anything like this works). I make it about an 1" deep, and plant the seed tail down into the hole to where the dome is just below the surface, then lightly cover with some dirt. They are typically above ground in 1-2 days from that point.

I find that all seeds usually pop within 3-4 days.........without soaking.

I have personnally never done the paper towel method with any plant for 1 reason and 1 reason only, I am afraid im gonna damage the tap root once it is out of the seed lol. So I always soak overnight and straight to the soil with all seeds. But my exp is all in food producing plants, Never grown a single flowering plant before. So, wasnt sure on the releastic number of days.

Temp in the tent is 86F and 78.2 RH if that matters btw.

At that temp a few days is all it should take, a few days longer if it was cooler. To be clear that temp and humidity sound good.

Awesome, glad to hear it. Like I said not really worried too much, its only been 3 days and they were cracked but no tap root Out of the husk so I figured it would be a few days.

I do the paper towel germ process too. I don't soak my beans, I place them in a damp paper towel, placed in a ziplock bag. Then I place that bag in the cabinet above my fridge. Ive never had issues with seeds that aren't many years old. Ive never temp'd the cabinet, but its always warmer due to the operation of the fridge. Beans usually pop within 12-24 hours. And ill drop them in a shallow hole about 2-3 days after pop when the lead root is about 1" long ( when straightened).

I feel your over complicating this and causing issues due to trying too hard to get this perfect.

Pretty much the same here unless its landrace or old ass seeds i always use the paper towel method for normal stuff i use a small tub instead of a bag but same idea as you i wouldnt add heat unless its its something more tropical thats really used to it.
