they look like they're in small pots too, small square ones and soil? if they are, might wanna look into re-potting them or up pot them a little....just my 2 cents...
Definitely in small Square pots. Round pots are for the birds. Small pots in order to keep them small. That said, they may get a slight square footage increase in pottage when I tackle the mother tent. Not sure yet.

Question for the Dr. Earth folks. I have a bag of the All purpose 2-2-2 pellets. That should do ok to keep the mothers fed and happy, right? Or do I need to pick up one of the other versions? I am hoping to just scratch some into the surface of the soil on occasion between waterings. Screenshot_20231129_125646_Amazon Shopping.jpg

yeah you can use it, as a top dressing then water it in. With those small pots your not gonna need much, just a pinch then water in. If u up pot, then you can mix it within the soil for a while and then top dress with it....i use something similar when i do mine....

Sweet. Thanks. I think I have a handful of half gallon pots that they will end up in. I'll mix up the soilwith it before transplanting and then top dress in the future.

cool.....np......just keep in mind how much soil your gonna use versus how much fert your gonna use in the soil...then go from there.....i've made plenty of mistakes not doing that math right......4 1/2 gallons is basically 2gal of soil......to how much fert is the process....then you can top dress from there
