Anyone ever let it go too long?

Happy Sunday everyone (:
I let a couple of my plants go too long outside. My 15 year old dog passed away of old age right during the time I was harvesting and I let the plants go. Here are some picks of whats left. Any ideas of what I could do with these flowers?
Thanks:peace::weed:(:
So very sorry about the loss of your pup and I completely understand. I'd harvest and smoke them.

Sorry for your loss. The plants look fine, certainly well cooked. Only way to tell if they're any good is to harvest and sample a bit...

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. Mine is 14 or 15 and I know the time will come sooner than later. I can't even think about it without tearing up. Dogs don't live long enough and the end is the most heart wrenching miserable experience. But the time we do have with them makes it all well well worth it.

I hope when the time is right you will have another canine friend to lighten your days!

Just inspect the buds for mold before smoking them. The plants look fine. Should be sleeeeepy herb.

They look great, fully matured. To me they don't look too far gone at all. The trichomes would have more of a yellowish hue.... Either way harvest and cure them. At worse case may be some very body chill ERB, couch lock, sleepy.

Let us know what you done as I see this post is a few weeks old. I think they look like some good erb bud. Mistakes are how we find tricks.

I just lost a pet of 12 yrs yesterday. Always a sad moment in life. Sorry to hear of your loss.

I once over ripened some bud and it lost potency. Prob got plenty of CBD in it but the kick was depleted quite a bit. Hopefully yours are not to overripend.

Sad for your loss, lost my Doberman (Dutchess) in 1999,she had hip dyslexia and medication allowed her to make it up the steps for about a week,I carried her in and out of the house to do her business for a while, finally couldn't stay in denial forever, had a mobile vet who made house calls put her down in my home, that morning she still ate all her food, she just couldn't walk anymore at 13 yrs.24 yrs. later it still makes me well up writing this and I've never had a dog since, man the bond I had w/her. I love dogs but I can't go through that sorrow again, consequently the vet who came to my home committed suicide in his mobile van about a mile from his home where he kept Dutchess overnight during a heartworm treatment along w/his wife and daughter's,was shocked by that as he and his wife made housecalls together. They came to my home once to treat my mom's cat ,whom I cared for after she passed, the cat was a inside/outside cat and was nowhere to be found, they spent a good 20 minutes looking for her. I apologized and gave him 50$ for wasting his/her time and he was gracious enough to give me medication for the cat's skin condition(mange). That seemingly happy man must have been burdened by the sadness associated w/his profession,I know he witnessed me crying like a baby when he put down Dutchess, sorry for the ramble, but your post about losing your beloved dog hit a chord that brought back memories.

I am so sorry for your loss, We recently lost one of our cats who was 13 due to a spinal injury, and I will say this, I cried like a baby over that cat, this may not see a big deal to most, but I am the guy that was cracking jokes and laughing at my mothers funeral and I never shed a single tear over her, but I still well up thinking about losing "His royal Highness Prince Maxmillain, the prince of all kittahs", Yes, that is what I called him, Eveyone else just called him Max, I loved that cat.

As far as the plants go, Harvest, dry, cure and smoke them, might not be the greatest yield at this point, but if it smokes it smokes.

My condolences for your loss.
Life's good but sometimes the SUCK factor gets in the way... Derails your plans for awhile but anyone who hasn't let things go for too long NOT only haven't grown, I'd say they probably haven't lived yet either.

Hope your healing progress goes well and hopefully fairly fast.
Enjoy your labors with either something good to eat or something to puff on, utilize everything you can else all can become a waste, and from that no one benefits...
:peace:

Pulled this out of a 1 gallon pot left outside till today citridelic sunset I was gonna save a clone off an outdoor plant that did very well, I seen spider mites so I took it back outside to prevent spreading just forgot it. I wanna try some sativa genetics next year, surviving all the way till Dec 17 is amazing. Wish I woulda fed it
