I got cocky and only took one clone from my GG#4 mom before putting into flower. Mr Murphy came by and slapped me down, clone rotted in the rapid rooter and died. I took more clones two weeks into flower and they successfully rooted.

It's been three weeks since I took the cutting and it looks awful lol. Tall ass thing, no side branching, the leaves look like bay leaves and the top... I don't even know what to make of that!

How much longer do you think it's going to be before this thing returns to normal so I can take cuttings?

Looks good. Unfortunately you just have to keep waiting. I see only single finger new leaves still, couple weeks.

maybe a few weeks. Looks healthy enough you shouldn't have issues

Since the top above the fan leaves is being an asshole, I'd cut the top off and clone it and now you have 2!

I was really hoping a couple weeks would be enough. Wild how it's still making trichomes in 24 hour light. I was planning on putting a clone of her in with the SSH in early December... fingers crossed.

@curious2garden you can still see the leave twist in the single leaf.

It’s gonna look funky for a while. A month or more maybe from the time it rooted is when you will start to see normal growth usually. Some strains are harder. However I can’t recall where.. but I read something along the lines of the plants being stronger on the reveg the later in flower the cuts are taken. I had never heard it before, but it sounds good. I also think that the deeper into flower, the longer it will take to grow 3-5+ fingered leaves. I had one take about 2 months before I trimmed all those single blades leaves off. Still looked funky tho. Lol

I found this strain to be finicky. It really doesn't like being cloned. Usually takes me 10 days to root. This has never rooted in under 14. Annie was telling me it's a bitch to reverse too.

Great smoke tho!

My anecdotal experience has been that my few revegged plants have always done better after switching back to 18/6 light cycle after the reveg has successfully been triggered. They started acting less stressed and fell back into a groove, growing normal leaves again.

Klonez are such a slow and painful thing but I can make em go better than I can kill a fistful of beans - so I'm along to watch the twisting and metamorphosis of the oowey ga-loowey!

I don't change them on a schedule, but it's pretty frequently. Short attention span lol.

I think it's five this past week.
They really didn't even look at me funny, they just had that "how do these swollen calyxes and trichomes look on me?" swagger so I cut em off at the knees...
