How is this alternative to Maxibloom?

Plant Food Info: NPK 13-3-20 + 2 Mg + Micronutrients
Macro Nutrients:
  • Total Nitrogen (N): 13.0%
    • Nitrate Nitrogen: 6.5%
    • Ammonium Nitrogen: 6.4%
  • Phosphorus (P): 3.8%
  • Potassium (K): 20.0%
  • Magnesium (Mg): 2.0%
  • Sulfur (S): 10.1%
Micro Nutrients:
  • Water-Soluble Iron (Fe): 0.16%
  • Water-Soluble Manganese (Mn): 0.050%
  • Water-Soluble Boron (B): 0.032%
  • Water-Soluble Copper (Cu): 0.010%
  • Water-Soluble Zinc (Zn): 0.027%
  • Water-Soluble Molybdenum (Mo): 0.006%

Maxibloom is hard to come by in Europe.

This seems more or less identical except for the high Nitrogen.

Will the nitrogen be too high for flowering? What will happen if used in flowering?

So decent for veg but not great for flowering :/ Trying to find an alternative that I can use all throughout the grow. I know people use Maxibloom all the way successfully.

Gringo that fertilizer you put up is geared toward peat based soils, if that is what you are using you should be fine using it straight thru. You probably could quit fertilizing mid way thru flower. If you are wondering why i say it is peat based look at the % of NO3 to NH4, its fine thats not a problem. It will drop the pH in the substrate over time.

I am in coco, so I guess that works? I happened to find a local seller who sells Maxibloom so I've bought both. The first one I can use for most of my plants and weed in veg at least.

If you use that fert for veg let us know how it works, I am not sure how the half NH4 and half NO3 will do over a period of time. Jacks bloom 10 30 20 has that half and half ratio and i use it a few times per cycle but never for days at a time. In soil the NH4 would get converted to NO3 quickly by bacteria, I dont know if coco has nitro bacteria, or even it that matters the plant can and will take up NH4 directly.

It would work great in soil/potting soil, I dont know about in coco, or any other hydroponic forms. It definitely is designed for soil. You should check the 4-1-7 and see how much Ca. is in it and what form of N it has, if it is more nitrate than NH4 try it.

The one I posted is fully water soluble and the one OP stated so it's mineral salt based. NPK similar to Jacks tap formula. They also have nutrients in solutions that are all mineral salt based.

The 50/50 nitrate to ammonium nitrate might be a problem in water cultures. I haven't checked the ratios on the tomato feed they have! Cheers!
