How many people are prosecuted for lying on ATF form 4473? Americans Bought 13.9 Million Firearms in 2019 The odds of being charged for lying on the form are virtually nonexistent. In the 2019 fiscal year, when Hunter Biden purchased his gun, federal prosecutors filed just 298 cases.

The republicans are trying to treat Hunter Biden differently than the average american just because he's Joes son. They want to apply a different standard to him. He should be treated like any average american that commits these same violations. And besides, what proof is there that Hunter was a drug addict? Some photos of a white powder doesn't prove anything, was that powder lab tested?

How many Americans write a book about how they flouted the law? Virtually non-existent, except for Hunter. It was a really dumb thing to do and whatever legal team he had go over that should probably be disbarred.

Is hunter a certified lab tech? How do we know the alleged drugs he was sold wasn't bunk? The Feds better be able to prove it was real dope or it's all hearsay. All hunter has to say is it was all a lie to sell a book and the feds will have to prove otherwise....

Yep, looks like Hunter is getting busted for a gun, the 2nd amendment crowd and republican gun owners will be outraged, looks like a fine to me, as it is with everybody else. A nothing burger really.

If he got 2 billion from the Saudis, the day after Trump left office like Kush did, it should cause some concern.

yeah if the average republican was charged with this they would all be up in arms (pun intended) about unconstitutional gun laws....

It doesn't matter. If you knowingly lie on a form that's the crime.

Yeah, but it would be more delicious if they passed the laws in the first place. It is nice to see the Democrats get burned by their own laws.

Actually, the SCOTUS recently ruled on it, and it will go in Hunter's favor if he fights the gun charges. He is now suing those responsible for invading his privacy and publishing lies. Death threats to the FBI have doubled all are from the right and many are over Hunter as foxnews whips up morons over it.

Safety laws aren’t partisan. I’m very confident whoever passed the law wasn’t hoping it only punished members of one party. Really. I’m very confident that many liberals are fine with Hunter B getting charged, and any other person who breaks the law, regardless of party.

I doubt democrats think only republicans will be caught up in the laws they pass. So you are happy to see a tortured person fall on the wrong side of the law. Got it.

And no, I did not lie on my gun forms or grow weed before I got my certificate.
