They can't deal with reality, or they are just stupid or plain mean people. There isn't much excuse for voting for Trump, if you wanna sound sane!

With Donald gone there will be no elections, but with Donald there would be no elections either, or they wouldn't mean much. The concept of constitutional democracy and the rule of law seems to have escaped them, along with a lot of facts. Cult before country for many of them and if a disqualified Trump got the idea that writing him in on the general election ballot could somehow be good for him, he will lead the, "Write Trump in" Campaign. All to the horror of the republicans with his own endorsed candidates for congress, write in Donald and vote for his hundred Herchel's!

Lawrence: Fani Willis points out key flaw in GA co-defendants asking to move cases to federal court

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell explains the latest legal developments in the fastest moving case against Donald Trump in Georgia, including Fani Willis’s surprisingly strong brief to the appeals court arguing that law allowing federal officials to move state cases to federal court does not apply to former officials like Mark Meadows.

An example why I won't engage with anyone unless I know their position. One indication that they are in a cult and I move away. It's why I will never see my sister again. She's fairly apolitical, but her husband appears to be a cult member and she'll follow whatever he says. In return, she runs the family. Control issues. I miss her, but this is life and I'll die with it.

Chalk one more up for Donlad on why so many hate his guts, blame foxnews too and if they believe the covid bullshit they spout they are dangerous to their own family too. If they can make them believe absurdities, they can make them commit atrocities. I suppose they think Putin is a cool guy too, I mean Trump likes him...

I wouldn't know. She broke off communication when I said I wouldn't knowingly be in the same room with Republicans, let alone cultists. That saves me the uncomfortable position of making up a story to avoid an invitation. I hate to lie. I might seem like that "get off my lawn" old man. So be it.

I know people who believe bullshit too, a nice guy across the street but not too bright or educated believes a fantastic array of online conspiracy theories and speaks of his group who track such things online etc. There is no talking sense to him, he has an online emotional support community, not just an open sewer on his phone spewing out disinformation, fake documentaries, other assorted bullshit and of course covid and vaccine lies. "Reseach" is done on the toilet while taking a shit and watching a YouTube video on ancient aliens or UFOs which are whizzing around all the time, men in black stuff.

How could you try the person that saved the world?

Trump: ‘I never got … the credit that I deserved on COVID’
Former President Trump is defending his record on COVID-19, saying he never got the “credit that I deserved” on how he managed the pandemic as president.

“I got a lot of good marks on economy. I got a lot of good marks on a lot of things. Rebuilding the military, getting rid of ISIS, the biggest tax cuts in history,” Trump said in an interview on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” airing Thursday. “I never got, I think, the credit that I deserved on COVID.”

With much of his political base skeptical of coronavirus vaccines, Trump, the front-runner for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, has tried to tread carefully when touting the success of his Operation Warp Speed, which developed highly effective and safe vaccines in record time.
In his interview with Kelly, Trump touted his accomplishments by quoting “very smart” Democrats who, he said, tell him that “you saved a hundred million people worldwide” with the vaccines.

Democrats have long criticized Trump’s handling of the pandemic, both in terms of lives lost and the damage to the economy.
“And I’ll tell you, the way I look at it, it came in, and nobody knew what it was. We have to put ourselves back then. I had a meeting, and we had a lot of professionals in the Oval Office. They say, ‘Sir, something bad is happening in the world.’ I said, ‘What’s that?’ And they said, ‘People are dying. They’re dying in China, in this area,’” Trump said.

“All of a sudden they had something where the first person died in the United States. And then another. And then it died — and then they started dying all over Italy and all over Europe. Nobody really knew what it was, Megyn,” he added.

Public health officials have pushed back on such claims, and a 2022 report from the National Institutes of Health said, “Not only the words, but also the substance, of the Trump administration’s policy reaction to the pandemic suggest a tragic failure to proactively mount a focused, whole‐of‐government and whole‐of‐society response to indications of a rapidly intensifying public health threat.”

That was the first of many covid blunders that drove the US per capita death rate through the roof and made America a world leader in death surpassing many 3rd world countries FFS! It was a fiasco as he threatened to withhold aid from blue states and played with people's lives for shits and giggles. Woodward has a tape of him confessing that he lied about covid to public so he could keep the stock market up. He killed so many old fart republicans that the party was becoming concerned it would affect the election FFS and nearly died of it himself and would have if not for antiviral medication that nobody else except his friends could get. I figure he knew he had covid before the debate and hoped he could give it to Biden before he ended up in the hospital after sickening most of the WH and crippling the SS with it. I could go on, but you lived it too, so did everybody else.

I’m a bit surprised some deep-pockets liberal hasn’t mounted a civil suit based on the excess deaths caused by that man’s non- then antiresponse to the pandemic. It would be a good thing imo if he were found liable for perhaps a million paid to the survivors of every excess death ascribed to Covid in the defined interval. I’m sure that perhaps a hundred thousand instances of reckless endangerment leading to wrongful death can be proven.

He’s a billionaire after all; he can no doubt absorb the penalty and move on to bigger and better things, like a superseding indictment charging him with sedition. Nice dreams.

That crime will be forgotten and there is more than enough to send Trump away for life anyway. Like Hitler there are too many crimes to atone for, it would take an eternity in Hell.

His dead carcass needs to be skinned and stuffed and fitted with a voicebox that says Not Guilty for all the trials he has stacked against him. He won’t live long enough for the indictments to all be met.

Everybody who gets tried first will blame Trump and the entire case against Trump and the others will be presented to the public on TV and then again during the second trial. So what if they get to see the case, the witnesses and evidence are overwhelming, and his coconspirators will be found guilty and probably sentenced before the second bunch gets tried. Some of them are bound to plead guilty and testify before the second trial. The whole case will be presented on TV twice and more people will see it and perhaps Trump in orange when it does happen. Jack should have him convicted in DC by then and he could be disqualified from running by then too.

Can Trump be blocked from running? Two legal scholars debate the 14th Amendment

8,822 views Sep 14, 2023 #Trump #14thAmendment #GOP
Is Donald Trump already disqualified from running for office? It’s not a Qanon-style conspiracy theory, it’s a plain-language interpretation of the 14th Amendment’s ban on insurrectionists in federal office… one that Mehdi puts up for an actual debate between two constitutional law experts.

Such bullshit. Every doc knows that pandemics are an inevitability all you can do is respond to minimize the effect. We go though this as a planet about every 100 years on average every modern president from both parties before him understood this and took preparedness respons precautions.

I'm using real facts. Please don't make me do my homework. I try to only speak on informed opinions.
But what is also a real fact.
Many things can not be real to many people until they have been realized to them.

It's been a long time since polio
To many people they hear "we're spending $10^× on something you don't understand the value of" and feel rightfully outraged

Allow extremist politics to set in and rapid swings of party control and shit gets lost
