right now i have it set to low and its making the seedling wobble but not too much. is that bad? if so should i just move it farther away so it doesn't move the plant?
exactly what he said, try to create a slight breeze and increase it with age, also, dont train the fan directly on the plant and dont put it on high if its close... this will dry the leavesBe careful, If you leave a fan constantly pointed directly at a seedling to the point that it wobbles you will kill it.
Actually its recommended not to use a fan at all when they are seedlings.
Then once your plants get say 6 inches tall you can use an oscillating fan a few feet away.
My PC fans have been running nonstop for longer than I can remember at this point. Most fans really don't need much power to run so the mechanics are very simple...thus it can be on for a long time.one question, if i leave the fan on all the time, will it burnout the motor? cause i felt it and it was pretty warm.
