Retarded clones

about a month ago, i took an expiremental batch of clones from a flowering unknown strain, just after it began to show sex. I put them in a humidity dome at 83 degrees under t5's. This is one of them. It started new green growth after roots formed, but went from new 5 blade leafs to only 3 blade leafs, and its also very lanky. Why might this be? the other pic is a nug from the mother.

Nice nug, but for your plant you may not have enough light on them. Get the lights closer, preferrably within 1 inch. And you should probably get some more lights on them. That should work for it.

This is normal, your not feeding properly. Clones dont require nutes while they are rooting because they actually feed off of their fan leafs. After they are rooted they need nutes right away. Especially when potting them.

I have had plants go from 7 point to 1 point leafs from growing so big so damn fast after potting clones. They always recover fine, eventually start growing 3 then 5 then 7 point leafs once being fed properly.

Clones can double in size daily once being planted, the stalks fatten up, the leafs get bigger, and they will stretch and stretch and stretch if your not careful!

Lower your lights a lot. And how damn small is that pot the clone is in??? It looks damn tiny, way too small.

I always put my clones into their final pots, at LEAST 3 gal pots to flower.

i thought it could be light too, but i have them under a 8 bulb 4 foot t5 fixture an inch above the plant tops. the plants next to them under the light are doing great.

i started them on this 2 part nutrient(i forget the name) after 10 days for roots to set in, and transplanted to 20 oz gatorade bottles. They all continue to flower, even after a month of 24 hours of light daily.

Cut that plant in half, it will force lower branches to grow instead of reaching for the stars. Do that a few times over the next few months and it will be like a big bush.

Make sure that for any future grows that you get a bigger pot (preferrably atleast 3 gallons as was said^) because the gatorade bottle just won't cut it by a long shot!

clear pots are bad! the roots dont grow if they get light. get a darker pot to put it in. plus they dont have enough space to create a proper root mass. i dont think you have enough light and thats why its tall and lanky. as for the leaves -- sometimes they loose blades when they flower. id chop it in have and try to clone the top if it will let you. then just keep topping it till you get it bushy like no drama said
