I wondered if the blades were adjustable, because mine are at lease 1/4" from the grate, and I was thinking how can this work. Of course there is absolutely no assembly or instruction manual....Just a list of warnings....lol. I'll have to look.

I did get a bunch of extra new blades with it....6-8 I think

There should be two small allen keys as well, one to take the fingers off (not yours!) For cleaning and the other to adjust the blade.

Interstate's are good. However our Walmart battery lasted longer than our Honda OEM and one of the hub's Interstates. So we've just been going with them and had good luck.

Last 15 years or so I have had better luck with Walmart vs. Interstate. None of them seem to last for shit though. WHY, I CAN REMEMBER when it seemed like those old AC-Delco lead acid beauties lasted forever. And this was in the carb/choke era when that son of a bitch would crank and crank when it was 0°F.

Just got some good news from our son. He just landed an IT job at Geico insurance and is super excited. It means he'll have weekends off now too so he can come home to help out more which I really could use.
