I wouldn't expect throngs of supporters, but Donald should demand republican members of congress protest on the courthouse steps J6 style with MTG leading the charge up the steps... I mean it's close by in DC and they should publicly show their support for Trump at least, unless they are RINOs! There should not be too many from the public there, but republican congress people next door is another matter! I don't expect Mitch to be carrying a sign on the courthouse steps, but MTG, Kevin, Matt, Gym and others should be there in full force. Expect a house vote to impeach the judge in the case and Gym will hold hearings!

You realize he’ll speak the usual bafflegab of 200-word not-sentences loosely made of irrelevances that whiz and carom from wall to ceiling of the padded cell that is his mind. Extracting any definite statements from the blurry mess of value judgments, insults and syntactic mystery tumors would likely put the judge on trial.

I wonder if his usual rambling, incomprehensible failure to get to the point can be treated as contempt of court. THAT would spice up the proceedings.

I think Mark got a deal from Jack and won't be charged with serious crimes, Mark might bring a lot of republicans down, he knows where all the bodies are buried and the connections between the WH and congress, all the pardon requests from congress over J6 came through him. Trump confessed the conspiracy to the acting AG FFS! "Just say it was stolen and let me and my friends in congress do the rest", well those friends in congress acted with their votes and words in furtherance of a conspiracy, even after the capitol was attacked. First nail Trump before the 24 elections, then his cronies and minions, finally the assholes in congress who conspired with him to steal the election and that's where Mark comes in.

Like in Florida it will be initially set to early November, but with conflicts and other delays like motions it won't actually get underway until January or February and should take a couple of months at the most with evidence spewing out into the press all primary season and a verdict before the convention, incarceration upon conviction I figure. It will be interesting to see if Donald continues to be stupid and mouth off after his DC indictment. 90 days is kind of the standard, but I doubt they will make it even for the initial trial date. The main thing is the trial should happen during the republican primaries or before if the judge is aggressive. Something tells me she wants this case resolved before the election, or even GOP primaries. She will be done when Cannon begins.
