Below is an update to my post about this year's grow: https://www.rollitup.org/t/open-show-an-tell-2023.1088242/post-17346607

The plant is filling out the SCROG (5' wide with 3 1/2" squares).

And here's the same plant in profile so you can see how it's pushing up the netting.

I haven't done any topping or defoliation. I'll do some of both starting next week. I'm pretty happy with how the plant has spread and how well I've been able to control its height -- this one is 30" tall at max which is nearly unchanged from it's height when it went into the ground a month ago.

Hope everyone has a great 4th!
Wow that's beautiful! Looks like a bonsai!!!

Looking good, Thumper. What strains are you running this summer?

Hope everyone's having a good summer so far. Think I'm back on track here with everything after letting some of those fabric pots get too dry--was thinking they were waterlogged from all the rain and had root issues but got it figured out finally. Think we're in good shape now heading into flowering season.

The rain let up a bit recently, been hot and muggy, but today they're calling for thunderstorms and potentially violent winds. Will stash the plants on the back porch if things start to get wild.

Here's the Pine Tar Kush:

Running 3 Ethos cherry Garcia clones plus 3 of apple blossom an 3 Hella jelly from Humbolt seed co. Then a bunch of my own crosses.
Did you run multiple Cherry G’s and find a good pheno? I popped one again this year and it’s already putting off some nice Cherry terps…much more than the one I grew last summer.

I ran a 10 pac over the winter an revegged an cloned the one that finished first about 10 days before the rest all of it was nice an terpy. But the apple blossom from HSC is down right killer an a very fast finisher high hopes on those.

It's been a brutal grow so far this year. Between battling extreme wind at the beginning, to the 100 plus degree heat. No rain at all. Plants are way behind where I was last year. Apple Betty, Hawaiian Gold, Amnesia Auto, Durban Poison, Skunk #1.

Looks like a girl but not actually seeing any pistils yet. Any week now.

Those thunderstorms hit you good today? We got a couple good downpours, including about 15-20 minutes of absolute buckets. Ground couldn't absorb it fast enough. Brook is up but not over the banks. Only got 1-1/2" in the rain gauge. Love not having to irrigate but if this doesn't back off come late flower harvest is going to pretty heartbreaking.
