That might work . Still kinda sketchy to me . I'd be worried about cameras or the owner doing a surprise visit . I'd rather rent for a month from a slumlord . Just me , I was always a little paranoid .

Hydro is the easiest thing to do. The best System for Beginners ( however, you have to know basic shit) and lazy people like my self. Not complicated at all. The PH/PPM Tester tells you almost everything you need to know. What the Tester doesn't tell you , you can easily find here at RIU or just google it.
Why use 20 gal, when they sell 200, 400 gal Bags ? ...lol , just kiddin.
That's 200gal with a GG#4. She is an old Plant from last year. That's why she looks so fucked up. I had her over the Winter as a clone in the shed and didn't take good care of her.

For sure clones...........and google 3 a Light. But don't buy the damn book ( 500 Bucks or so)....you can find the information all over the internet.

Why grow bags? Have to water the plants all the time, why not just straight in the ground?
I was also thinking clones, lots of clones. Hundreds of clones BUT under the sun.

What kind of place are you planning on doing hundreds of clones outdoors by yourself ? My specialty was outdoors and for one guy that's a helluva lot of work . Not to mention risk .

Hydro IS NOT the easiest thing for beginners. Good old fashion soil is. Hydro requires riggings up water tanks and flow tables and piping and timers and all kinds of things that soil doesn't, with a longer learning curve than soil, which most of us already know from our house plants and porch shrubbery.
Cocoa may be your best bet..
That's a photo of my buddy, from ancient times, growing in giant 5 x 5 tubs with cocoa in a two car garage. There were like 11 of them under 9 staggered 1000W sodium lights. All the ducting and filters and fans were the most expensive/difficult part. I think he was pulling close to 5 pounds per tub.
Using cocoa, he could keep reusing it where lugging in/carting out soil is the big hurdle for soil growers

In the forestry I will grow. Just plant the clones out and come back at harvest. Yes grow small plants, better stealth, no need for trellis netting or bamboo to hold the branches up.
1.5 OZ's per clone? idk I've never grown clones before so not sure on yield.

Just seems like a lot of work for the return to me . As good as the guerilla weed I put out was it's basically worth nothing today . My old partner who kept plugging along didn't even do anything this year . It would have been his 44th consecutive year .
Marketable outdoor weed has to be well tended . One guy vs. Mother Nature and hundreds of lollipops just doesn't seem feasible to me .

I've read this whole thread and I get the feeling that you have never grown before and have no idea of what you are trying to do.
I read all the plant problems that are posted here. You should take a look at some of the problems people have growing a single plant. Those problems are faced every day. If you are serious then you need to do a small grow and see what it's like.
It you try growing that much I can almost guarantee failure. No amount of advice will take the place of experience. You will need to be able to look at a plant and know what it needs without looking up each problem.
I know that a lot of growers think that growing in the ground is a sin but I grow in amended native soil, was 12 plants now 11. One was a male. Before I found it it pollinated the plant next to it and I hope that's all. That's all you need on a big grow like that to ruin your whole crop. Don't try to convince yourself that's not going to happen.

Control....it's all about control.
Watering is a non issue, if needed a timer and drip rings can be hooked up in 15 minutes.
In my country, shit outdoors and good outdoors sells for the same price - $5,000 NZD ($3,000USD) per pound.
