Comments always welcome. Documenting another grow. Unreleased test pack (Regs: Sherbert x Dosidos x ICD) Not even sure what ICD is? Going to be growing pretty much the same as I always do. Short veg time with small plants topped once or twice and flipped to flower within 4 or 5 weeks from germination. Shooting once agin for around a 90 day cycle. This grow I'll be sending samples out to be sexed so I can cull the males right away and save some time and effort.
Dyna-Gro nutes as always in 2x2 classic ebb and flow with 4 inch rockwool as always. Here we go!!

germinated on 6/30 evening.

Current situation:
temp: 78f
RH: 55%
EC: .6
PPFD: 350
PH: 5.8

Of course the post office has lost my samples to be sex tested. So just a quick pic update. Plants are looking healthy and uniform. Hopefully I'll be culling the males before I leave on my vacation otherwise I'll be having res water depletion problems in my res while i'm gone. The timing couldn't be any worse. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully it all works out for your vacation. Do the best you can to set everything up before you leave and don’t worry yourself sick on vacation. Everything looks really good though.

Lost samples of course that’s bad luck, just about as bad as the lab losing a sample of a biopsy.

Good news and bad news. The good news is that the mail was found and delivered to its destination on friday. Got an email from Farmer Freeman stating the mail had arrived. One business day later I was mailed my results. Absolute great service and will definitely use them again. Now for the bad news. Only two of the six plants are female. Not the worst news but three would have been perfect. I can still fill a 2x2 tent pretty easy with two plants so no real problem there. And as a bonus I'll have plenty of res water to last my whole trip so I won't have to trust my girlfriend to keep things rolling along. Thats a relief haha. Anyway heres a few pics from today. Oh and they were topped yesterday. I'll probably veg another week and see what they look like when I get back.

A final shot of all six plants. All looking very nice.

Just a quick update. Got back from being out of town for a week and everything looks fine. Res PH was a bit high around 7 but no big deal. The plants look very healthy. They actually didn't grow as much as I expected but again nice and healthy. Ill do a res change and a flush....trim them up a bit and I think maybe another week on the veg before I flip. I'll make that decision in a few days. Anyway heres just one pic for comparison.

So considering this is an unknown strain to me and I can't even find any pics on the interweb I decided to keep the schedule for these ladies close to what I typically do which is to flip early and keep the plants small. That way I can compare with my usuall schedule of things. So at prox 5.5 weeks from seed (today) I am flipping to 12/12. So after a few leaves where strategically removed here we go. Official flip day. Let the fun part begin.

EC : 1.4 a bit higher than I usually go (usually around 1.0)
PH: 5.6ish
Temp: 77 F
RH: 60
PPFD: 550ish (I'll creep up to around 700 in the next day or two.)

One week since flip. Plants still don't seem 100% happy but they are still pretty healthy. Watering once a day is not enough but watering twice a day is too much. And on top of it I now have some pesky fungus gnats flying around. So it goes. I'm hoping the plants start drinking a bit more in the next week and my gnat problems will go away. The good news is that plenty of bud sites are breaking through the canopy. Hoping next week to show some happy happy plants. We shall see.

TEMP: 78F
RH: 65
EC: 1.2
PPFD: 750ish
PH: 5.6
