day 6 of gg4 seedling stage. the plant as started to droop, i've layered the soil to hold the stem a little up right any advice?
also ive come to learn fox farm ocean forest is to "hot" for seedlings
yes 4-5 small holesAre there holes in that cup or is it doubled?
Either way aeration is key to good growth
Don’t over water and let it breathe
want to put them outside but shes still youngGrowing in a window will only result in a stretched and spindly plant.
tooping the soil is very helpful i would like the grow directly into soil but its mostly rocky dry so potsI think it will stand up again. You have almost 1/2 inch at the top of the cup. You can fill it up to the top for support and the plant will just make more roots.
I've read that the seed itself has all the nutrients it needs to get to it's first real leafs. I just start in Jiffy with a few drops of some liquid than drained from some Super Soil. The juice is really weak. It came from rained on super soil and gets diluted more.
Do you grow in the ground or pots. I would guess pots with Fox Farm. I live on a farm and have everything to make soil. I like to mix all the nutes and put them into the ground. Our native soil here is good. I just dig in a shovel full of the SS mix along with the compost. That's all they get for the year and they are very happy.
That sounds like the place for a raised garden. I have nice plants, but the garden doesn't look that good, more like a farm. I look at some of the gardens people post and wish I could put that much effort out. They look like manicured flower beds. If I couldn't get the plants in the ground I would do a raised garden even just for one plant.tooping the soil is very helpful i would like the grow directly into soil but its mostly rocky dry so pots
Young plants do fine outdoorswant to put them outside but shes still young
