Do you do anything for pest control?
The NAPA 8822 is chunky DE, that helps.

You can add Bti for gnats every 10 days, colonize it with Botanigard. If you keep the pile going, it will stay active and colonize new material, at lower levels.
Shouldn't need to do much more than keeping it from overly drying out or getting too wet.

Add some neem meal on top for repellant in warmer months but Fall is when everything unusual tries to come indoors to live.
If you see something bad, hit it with a dose of pyrethrin or Spinosad knockdown then azadiractin+Botanigard. Repeat if needed.

Thanks for that and I'm growing inside and using bag soil Greener fields just trying to figure out how to get rid of the salt buildup in them now that I think about it you know I throw my tomato plants in the soil that I use for growing without doing anything to it besides cleaning out the old roots
I use to re-use my soil over and over, by re-amending it. My old soil was my base, then add new to it, and let it cook.

But I have two words for you....

coco coir

Soooo much easier, plants love it and grow faster/bigger. The only downside I see is it needs more watering, but that's easy to fix.

Pretty nice here too....Thinking of doing something.

A dab or two would be a great start!! :weed:

I just did some detective work and tracked down my long lost sister, who I have only met once. I also learned what a Michigan basement is

Funny story, back over 30 years ago, I had a message on my answering machine saying "I am looking for my dad, and you may be my brother or sister".

Well sure enough, she was...and about 10 years after that (20 years ago) she came to meet our dad, and me and my bro. She stayed at my dads for a week, and that was the first time she ever met him. Poor thing!!

I guess she wasn't impressed, as i never heard from her again!!

OK, dabs :bigjoint:

... I should get a new thermal coffee mug. My coldbrew is always too warm, and my pour over is always too cool after like 45 seconds ...
Agreed ... and that particular mug keeps the coffee really hot for a long time.

I can pour one out, put the lid on, take the Spud for a walk and when I come back, it's still hot. That one actually came in the "Welcome Package" they sent me when I was hired full time in 2019.
