Yea I was just bending a few branches earlier I'm getting tons of skinny side branches coming out everywhere so I was messing with those..but I think I will try some methods on the tops soon

I feel like a specific one of my plants would've benefited from the breaking/damaging the branches to help em bulk up. Would be interesting to try next time. I like the new lst clips, made it easy to redirect the auto colas without damaging them/stunting.

Are those clips on Amazon?

I think I prefer LST to the more aggressive methods. Bend them over and maybe snip a fan off to let light thru to where you want it, and you can accomplish a lot without pissing the plant off too much. The handful of times I've supercropped, it was usually out of necessity, for a plant that was stretching too close to the lighting.

I have some of those clips saved in my Cart and plan on giving them a shot next I need to order something from Amazon. Kinda tired of dealing with a mess of pipe cleaners going everywhere to tie shit down.

I love pipe cleaners. Buy hundreds of em for a couple bucks. I use a cheap pair of snips and cut em down to length so there isn't a bunch of stray pipe cleaners sticking all over the place. If you try those clips, I recommend getting a couple sizes and angles if you can. They work pretty good but some plants don't like to bend a full 90 degrees to get into the clips.

It's really just what the plant shows that needs to be done for the space. Play around with it, try different things. See what works for you and your plants.
Love this advice. Been doing conventional LST this summer and that’s the approach. Let the plant dictate where it’s cool with moving to and keep the canopy as even as possible. Hope for the best!

Watched garden talk episode #2 last night and the way pigeon 420 was discribing his way, he almost lightly supercrops each branch during veg using his finger tips.
Twisting and manipulating each away from the light. Then they bounce back and continue. Making the branches strong af.

But I love and used thoes clips
