Drip hydro nutrient vs Athena vs Jack

My best guesstimate would be to use the hydrobuddy nutrient calculator.
Plug in the athena nutrient %
And mess with the ratio. If I have time today I'll do it for you.
As long as your ppms per nutrient is in range. You should have no problem.
This is a chart made by greengemes of some nutrient lines already calculated out.
5 gram bloom to 3 gram core is the perfect range for flowering ppm wise.
If that's full strength @ 3.0ec then I'd rock it.

One week ago vs now. Huge difference. Thank you so much on the knowledge about environment and fertigation. This has been a life saver and game changer for me. Always learning. I still am not watering everyday. My 40$ ph ec meter broke. So I went straight to a 300$ bluelabs guardian meter.
So I've been hesitant on feeding. But still running my jacks 3.9 / 2.6 / 1.4 formula with RODI water @ 2.2 EC Looking good

i water every other day , with high enough EC (right at the edge of tip burn) i can get away without watering everyday

Do you plan on running MB 0 -12 -24 I believe for flower? Or just stick to less bags.
And yeah. The dry back isn't fast, every other day seems the best atm. I don't have a moisture meter but maybe one day I can grab a grow link system

I ran it last round with amazing result weight and quality. So yeah ill run it untill june/july , jack said they are releasing new salt with 0 nitrogen then i might switch back but so far mb is the cheapest one.

cannabis for life your plants look good now. This feeding at 3 EC is crazy though, they always look good at that high of a EC for awhile but it always catches up with you and they go to looking bad real fast. I have said this several times on here don't worry about drawbacks until you can get thru a full cycle with no issues. Really if you keep ppm N 150 or under you dont need to worry about drawbacks at all, above that you will end up with cytokinins so high you will have to. At EC over 2 you will be way over 150ppm N. For example Jacks Tap at EC 1.2 is 150ppm N. If you are not going to fertigate multi times per day you might as well just use peat instead of coco. For the ferts caking up just look up the solubility of it and make stock solutions, the base part of a 2 part is somewhere around a solo cup per gallon 13 to 17oz per gallon. The bag will tell you how much, if it doesnt that is good indication the fert is not made for users that have a clue what they are doing.

Kratos can you take a picture of the MB powder? I want to see if its clumpy like Athenas Bloom. Also what does total EC fall into with their recommended dosage of MB and Calnit?
Sorry for late reply and for picture quality , ill taje more with lights on

Looks just like Jacks. Grainy and easy to mix. So per directions you use that and 15-0-0 Cal Nit and it covers all the essential nutrients?

I didnt like Athena cause it was too rocky and tough to mix. But this MB looks appealing
Yup. 0.6 gram calnit per 1gram masterblend.
currently running 6.6 mb and 3,9 cal nit. Mixes extremely well. U right it looks identical to jack part a but no nitrogen :))

ahh i just checked greengenes chart. MB doesnt have sulfur in it. I guess you gotta use Epsom with it too. Athena has sulfur so no need for epsom with their formula.

i think differences between MB and Jacks is so tiny. I wont switch. Ill just use the 4-2 Jacks formula instead of 3/2/1.

I've just switched from Jacks 321 to the Athena blended line. So far so good. I'm in Week #1 of flower.

I listened to the 'We the Grower' podcast and decided to give Athena a try. I was very pleased with Jacks but bit the bullet and got the Athena just to give it a try for a grow or two. 'We the Grower' podcast has a lot of information sprinkled throughout the episodes. I also expanded from a 4x4 flood tray to a 4x8 and I added (2) FOHSE Pisces 900w lights as well.

I tried out masterblend 4 18 38 for veg and for the past 2 months I just can't get it to work.
I gave it a try seeing they had a 0 nit bloom formula but I just can't get it right. 2.5 / 1.5 / 2.5 at 1.8 EC. Same environment as my jacks run but stunted to all hell. Said fuck it and stitched back to jacks 2 days ago. Plus I make small 20 gal batches. Masterblend did not look like a uniform mix. I could see patches of cal nit and other elements bunched together so when id scoop. It seemed to be different ratios of elements in each scoop. Jacks is much more uniform and blended. I see jacks released their 0 nit bloom formula. Gonna have to get a bag. Tried adjusting jacks part A for flower on those I posted in the past but it just burned them. Still got 5..6 Ounces a plant of smokable bud. But def need a bloom formula.
Anyways. Some of y'all run MB. Watcha think
