Yellow is the new green
Vegatable grow mix same as I put them in outdoors every year
Like I said before looks fine but it Could be overwatered. It’s a very sensitive part of the plants life. Are you watering on a schedule? If so how often. How much are you watering, what kind of water are you using???? Tap, distilled, r/o, rain, river, bottled… all of them will have differences

water type isnt the issue - its the medium . It looks highly compacted / full of bark and lacks aeration.

That seedling is struggling because of it. It seems to lack basic nutrients that the seedling would have easily found or the ph balance of that medium and all that bark / mulch. Hence the yellowing of the seedling. BTW which does increase ph to acidic numbers.

Filterd Warter around 7.0 ph that soil you see isn't as fine as what's underneath quickly put an extra layer in to prop up the stretched seedling

Ah well I disagree, I think the water used and how often it’s applied matters a whole lot more than you think. Without knowing what amendments and soil mixare under what looks like spaghnum peat moss and not really mulch at all is really only known by the guy posting the picture. It’s possible the ph is low, it’s possible it’s over watered… Maybe it is underfed like he thought. If razzledazzle had an acidic soil environment, then a watering of a higher ph could fix that. I tend to think the most common problem is over watering, once that’s dialed In then nutrients may become miraculously available. We’re here to diagnose and help are friend… So, let’s ask more questions instead of jumping to conclusions

Well I've given a good watering today only thing I can think of Is if been a bit to carful with watering. If no improvement in a week I'll give a little nuits.

Your opinion is noted … however the water used still would not make much of a difference in a “ prebuffered “ or ready amended medium. Distilled is a source best saved for steam irons and baby bottles- seriously. Tap water - under most circumstances - is good enough as your outside shrubs / grass / mangy cats still drink. You shower it and brush your teeth in it. So why should not be good enough for any plant ?

Once again … its the medium. The dead giveaway is that OP mentioned he might have to give it nutes. If that soil was “ already amended properly or RTU ready to use “ it would be feeding it .

Big difference in RTU medium then what is in that seedling’s container.

I grow in living soil and the tap water in Hawaii in my area has a very high amount of chlorine and chloramine. Every state has their own tap water with random shit in it. I use r/o and rain water to water plants and it’s had an incredible impact I think. I use to use tap trust me, but growing in small pots, that shit gives it nutrient deficiencies and the plant just doesn’t like it. In the ground it’s fine.

Looks saturated for sure. I would not water 1 of them for like a week and see what that does for one of them. If that kills it I will personally send you seeds lol. If you were to feed it what would you give it? Also what kind of light do you have and how far away is it
