So happy with my new grow space. Some questions about dialing in climate

Finally upgraded the 2*2 for a 5*5, got 3, 200w leds in there, hoping to get one more by flower. Also a carbon filter. Things are looking good though. These guys where planted on 4/20. I used a par meter and they are getting between 4-500 ppfd? Does that sound right? someone told me 300 was good especially at this stage. Also my temps are between 26-28, it's still mild the weather where I live so once summer hits it will probably be hotter. Best way to drop just a couple degrees? Maybe just cranking the fans would work till I get a carbon filter. Wich is a must because the wife says 5 plants will stink too much. It's dry as fuck here (rained once so far) so my hr in the tent is between 40-50. Probably get up to 60 once heavy watering starts. Any advice or tips or just something you see that could be better let me know.IMG_20230509_193546365.jpg

I’m in a hot climate too. I keep the tent door open with fan blowing in and an exhaust fan near the top blowing hot air out of the house through a dryer vent. Not great but keeps it reasonable. Evaporative coolers work as well if you’re in an arid climate

60 rh is great for veg. In flower it’s best to stay under 50. Might need a dehumidifier

Unfortunately I can't leave the door open I have cats. The cooler thing is a good idea.

I ran a swamp cooler when I first started out and I had the worst PM ever! To be fare they were dispensary clones so they might have been infected when I got them.

You know, the thing about PM is that wether the clones had it going in or not, if you create the perfect environment for PM (hot and humid), it will show up. The spores float in the air, your clothes, your hands. Unless you run a clean room with decontamination and HEPA filters the spores are gonna get into your grow room. The best you can do is try not create a perfect environment, cleanup dead leaves, good air flow, dropping rh in flower, etc.

I like your rick and morty posters. Looks like a nice set up all together, good luck.

I citric acid wash all cuttings coming from outside source. They stay in quarantine before being introduced to other plants. I also use chlorine in the cloner which I think help combating PM.
