No I don’t follow single incidents
I couldn’t care less if you have a couple tents growing with doors open
My room has six open bulb 600 watt hps and I’m not going to try leaving doors open or lights on
Good luck
Can it be done by you maybe
Should others try HELL NO
Lol I could care less about your 6 open 600w hps if you don't have proof...show the proof or GTFO

No biggie.. this tent has all three bottom vents opened in a room that has lights on pretty much all the time, and light gets through the exhaust...never had any reveg.

The light coming through the vents looks pretty visible, but within a few cm it's basically undetectable with a lux Meter, and a par Meter won't read it.

Fix it and carry on. Some strains and phenos are prone to herm when you interrupt the dark period. It’s probably a really good adaption in nature but not so much in the garden or grow room. Think light coming off a distant forest fire or some shit, plant says “oh noo” and sprouts male parts real quick to get some pollen on the wind in a last ditch effort to reproduce

BUT...... I'm no expert or master grower. Using logic and reason I'd assume that a "light leak" would have to have enough LUX to activate the plant phytochromes to truly interrupt the dark phase. So even going in the growroom in the dark and lighting a pocket lighter isn't enough light to awaken them.
this. "light leak" is a vague term. there is a threshold of light that needs to be breached in order to affect the plants. you could have a hundred pinhole leaks in the tent but it wouldn't make a dif if the light getting in is 0.1 ppfd. I feel like the blame light leaks get for stress and nanners is disproportionate to the reality. Maybe people don't want to admit they got shoddy genetics. Maybe it's just easier to imagine the cause of the issue was a "light leak" as opposed to doing the work to figure out where the true problem lies.

I have posted plenty of pics and that has nothing to do with you spreading bs
Post the study that says light leaks are fine and I’m not talking zipper holes

How does tobacco represent marijuana ?
You should probably read the entire study. I came across this as I was researching my specific situation. I'm sorry that I wasn't timely enough for your liking. I have been researching this for a while now. I do agree that light leakage can be a factor, however, it would take more than ambient lighting through pin holes in a tent to affect the plants. I have ambient light coming through the window of my lung room to the point that I can see my tent while I'm in the room with it. The PPFD at my vent flap doesn't even get to 1.

I never said zippers or pin holes were a concern

Hey its all good. I'm not busting chops here. I just thought it might be useful for others looking for info on the matter as there are a lot of misconceptions regarding light leakage and what constitutes light leakage. As you can see people do freak out over pin holes and zippers.
