So tRump has been given until Sunday midnight to change his mind about not testifying. A favour never given before by any judge to anyone CNN says tonight. Wants to be sure his orangeness can't cry that he wasn't given a chance to tell his story.

So when the conviction comes down does that mean the giant Cheetos puff is a convicted rapist or is this just defamation?

Surely a lot of Republicans that aren't die-hard MAGArats will not vote for the orange speed bump in the primaries at least. A lot of female repubs at least will turn away and maybe they'll force their husbands to do the same.

I wonder who Biden will face in '24 'cause I'd bet money it won't be that lying sack of shit.

So I'm pretty much positive that, barring a stroke or heart attack, he will be the republican nominee...Which is actually fine. You got twelve years on me. I was a space program baby. I remember being four, camped in front of the TV for a Gemini launch.

I grew up at a time when the space program and the X-planes provided a sense of progress with real momentum behind it. We were headed for the stars! It’s not like that any more.

I grew up Republican, and in retrospect even then conservative America had a core attitude that we were a decadent nation caught on the horns of creeping atheism and socialism. I parted with the Republicans long after but because of where the party headed under Reagan, especially their screwy economics.

Here in Canada they can't call an election until something like 40 days before we vote. A lot less money is wasted on promotion like the 100s of millions wasted in the states not to mention they are almost constantly electioneering down there what with midterms which is something we don't do here. We also don't allow corporations to feed millions into the mix to buy politicians that promote said corporations. Not to say that corps here don't have a lot of sway with our politicians but it's not like in the states wince they ruled that corporations are people.

I get exhausted by it all down there too. At least the tRump saga is entertaining.

The mere signers are getting a pass, they are going after the big fish for conspiracy indictments, serious time involved. They can also charge Trump with Georgia election crime over the phone call, but it only carries a fraction of the time the conspiracy crimes would carry, and with rats and receipts they are much easier to prove too.

It looks like she might be going for conspiracy among the big fish and those fish include Trump, Meadows, Rudy, a bunch of others and maybe LINDSEY GRAHAM! Getting that fucker on conspiracy would be worth letting the little fish fess up and go! She has her reasons, and it could be to scare up more rats that put someone important in jeopardy. They might plead to forgery or something else, but they definitely have something important to say to get a deal. 8 Rats are a lot for a conspiracy case and with receipts they will nail down almost any conspiracy. There were 16 fake electors and half of them took the deal, then there were other state officials who facilitated it along with others plus the WH crowd and at least Lindsey Graham and perhaps other republican politicians. To avoid prison and losing his senate seat Lindsey would sell his soul, but Trump already owns it along with his spine. She could give his ass to Jack for a deal, if he would cough up other J6 congressional conspirators. Nobody has exposed them to legal jeopardy like Trump did and continues to, some in Georgia are looking at a long stretch and the same applies to J6, those around Trump will either turn on him for a deal if they can get one or they will go down with him on conspiracy charges. Nobody had the leverage that Jack has or soon will have. These people are traitors, and it does not stop with their country and voters, they will betray anybody and put themselves first every time, it's why they are republicans. Many republicans are dirty too and those who rat will need to rat them out too for any crimes they have knowledge of, or no deal.

Convicting the foot soldiers of seditious conspiracy is very important to charging those higher up in the food chain with the same conspiracy and the higher up they go the longer the sentences they face. Already Trump is isolated and has nobody he can trust, not even his lawyer, or the butler who delivers his diet coke. He doesn't even know if his phone is bugged or his golf cart and he will keep his new SS detail out of earshot too. It might be kinda funny if some FBI agents temporarily transferred to the SS, I wouldn't put anything legal past Jack, including having Trump and his cronies wired for sound like a mob boss, since getting a warrant would not be an issue.
