I didn't really know how to handle this. It's not really a grow journal like you all do, just a test of old seeds.

Update on my sprouts is just that, they sprouted, oh, at least yesterday.
But last i looked the roots were 1/4" on 3 out of about 15 seeds I put
on a plate in a napkin. So, I was happy about it, got out the old Canon
and snapped some pix, and then the fight started. Win10 updates kind
of changed how i access pix and well, they didn't come out and what
did generate didn't show the images. I tried twice, even did video and
can't get them to move via usb from the PowerShot SD1300 IS to my desktop.
Sheeit, windows can piss you off. In 12 or so years of having the Canon i
never had a prob until now. I've even uploaded some buds a few months
ago, but not w/win10's new updates, plus it fucked up my Canon too.
I could use one of my antique smart phones, but windows updates fucked
those up years ago. So anyhow, I'm a get some solo cups, regular old bagged
packaged garden soil, and transfer my babies anyway.

Anyway, i had cam probs and hopefully fixed it. Here's a couple pix of my plants that are damn near a month old:
I'm pretty sure it's mex sativa, cuz the neighbor i got them from gave me some buds which is where the seeds originated.
Anyhow, it's good for a laugh at least. I can't bear to dump 'em yet cuz i've grown attached, you guys know how it is.
Even if i were to grow, i wouldn't grow these. They'll take 6 months, plus i tried the mother plant and it's pretty much no-high.
I still have a couple numbers from it. Yah, from 7 years ago! LOL

When I ran mine, 12+ years old I got 3/4 males. Not sure if that is because the seeds were old or not. Still running the girls, they look great. Got about 5 weeks left on them.

My neighbor had this big ol' male plant, that I got a small branch off. Tried it,
but as u'd expect, nothing. Then as I said the buds she gave me weren't anything
to write home about, or post about in RIU, for that matter.

I'd love to see some pix of yours. I'm not a grower, as I've said repeatedly in RIU.
I'm just a big fan of a nice fan leaf grown by RIU members. That kiss-ass enuf
for everybody?

Oh, and ty FirstCav and Herb for looking. Cute huh? LMBOOOOO Hey, i got like 100
seeds off those buds, but it's not much to smoke.

And this shot shows a leaf kinda yellowing, u can barely see it, and my guess from in RIU is it lacks some kinda nutes.





Can we tell if it's a him or a her yet with this shit shot?

Kinda spindly for over 30 days old. But again, light is only window sill, and table lamp. Oh, and she has the faintest odor, mmm, sweetness.
I know, how proud can i be of this stupid lame-ass plant. Heehee. Boy i'm a hate to have to cut her down.

She looks good for that little light, nicely done. We get attached to them as cute seedlings/veg but after 10 weeks, or more, of their adolescent flower bullshit I'm always happy to kill them!

Of course I'm not going to grow it out (see my sig for why). But yeah,
it's sativa, so in 6 months or so outside, it might yield a pound or so, if I were to
let it live, yeah? I know the father plant was 8 or 10 feet tall, leanin' up against that 6 foot cedar fence.

They're almost 12" tall now, eeyeah...

Did i say if you hold the top right under your nose, you can smell a nice, faint cannabis odor?

Hokay, so, here's a couple shots of my ready-to-harvest seed test. LOL
I should say that it's in a 6 oz solo cup, and been there since day uno.
Also i began feeding it last week, a daily quarter cup of water mixed
with Miracle-Gro® Indoor Plant Food $6.29, at a ratio of about 10 drops
per gallon of water. I intend to chop them now, due to the smell is
getting rather strong. My house can't smell like a drug den, they will
lock my ass up, or at the very least form a shit opinion of me.


More pix to come of harvest and root ball. We wouldn't wanna miss out on that. LMAO

HARVEST! Yay? Anyhow, i got the Guadalupe hanging, taped under a patio table.
Here's the harvest, root ball and all:
Too darn close to edge of solo cup, but hey, it's just a test. I never
did measure, it was close to 12" the last entry i made before this one.
I know, who cares, yadda yadda, but at least u can't say i didn't grow one.
At least for 2 months, that is. Once cured, i'll let u know how green it tastes
(if i even taste it--oh i probly will, LMAO). Well, i had fun anyway.

Boring journal, i realize that. I just did it for shits n' grins, and tested my seed, too.

you're joking, right? LOL I mean you realize that this journal was only a test of some 7 yr old seeds, right?
And it was fun to sprout a couple and see how far i could grow them before ending it. Yeah, i'll probly roll up a j,
and puff on it once or twice, but i know what it is, it's chlorophyll, it's green shit, there isn't .05% thc in it if any at all.
but thanks so much for the post about it, i really appreciate it. Yeah, i'll weigh it. I wouldn't expect more than .05 grams.

Yes I read the thread of course I was joking. I found some seeds in the bottom of my ice fishing bucket. 30 year old bag seed none of them popped so your test went better than mine

Thing about the joke is, i have smoked leaf in the way distant past.
And the funniest part is i'm gonna do it again. I just pinched off some
leaf, the other plant's leaf is still bendy at the stem.
